Great tips. Must have book!
I love this book. It’s funny, easy to read, with amazing content that is useful and full of insightful tips and info that I will refer to often. It has cool illustrations and everything from the cover material to the paper it’s printed on, great quality. I received mine yesterday and could not put it down. This book is the perfect housewarming gift for someone but you should keep a copy for yourself. You will love it!

very useful and well done book
I'm so glad I ordered this book. It contains a huge variety of helpful excerpts on a number of relevant topics. In creating the book, they asked for input from readers to make sure that the topics covered would be applicable to a wide variety of people. As a result the book is very user friendly and fun to read. I've been following the Skimm for over 3 years (I wake up to their email every day!). The women running Skimm are truly seeking to create a better informed population, a goal that I was always stand behind. I will keep this book for the rest of my life, and recommend it to everyone!

Good for college grad, not any older
I love the Skimm emails I get in the morning with the day’s news briefs. I’ve gotten these since graduating college 5 years ago. This book is the same readable format with great graphics. I was slightly disappointed at the content. This book is perfect for a graduating college or even high school student. However, as a 27 year old, this book offers me little new information. I feel like the Skimm emails are geared towards 20s and 30s, so I figured the book would be the same.

Perfect for improving everyday habits and beautifying your home
Pre-ordered this book and so glad I did so! Not only does it have great, helpful little tips, it’s also a beautiful book perfect for a coffee table. There are so many little, but incredibly useful, things I’ve learned from reading this and the small tips add up! I’ve already begun incorporating some of the tips and advice into my everyday habits and lifestyle decisions. I highly recommend for anyone looking to make positive life changes and wants something fun to read and easy to digest.

Informative and Useful, Great Coffee Table Book!
I have been a subscriber of @theskimm for a few years now, and it is still my choice for brief daily updates on what I need to know in the news. The opening quotes are literally the best, and will sometimes have me rolling. I was a little skeptical about reading an actual book of snippets, but whaddya know, there was actually a ton of useful information in here, and true to form, it was in bite size nuggets that I could ‘skim’ if you will and get exactly what I needed. I will keep this one around as a reference book for future use for sure.Highlights for me were definitely the wine section, they were extremely smart in putting that as THE very first section. I mean, talk about starting off on the right foot. The travel and sleep sections were useful, as well as the budgeting/money section, because honestly, I could do better.I could go on, but you get the drift, I think there will be something in here for everyone. It is a quick read, and you can mark the sections that you will refer to again and again, or leave it out as a nice coffee / end table book to share with others. Either way, I recommend this one, and will probably buy it as a gift for a few people in my life.

Good for young adults that need some very basic good advice.
This book was a great idea. It was a bit too basic for me (57 y/o Mom), but it did bring up some things that were talking points with my 20 and 25 year old "kids". One thing I would add for ID or passports is to always travel with a paper copy in case your passport is stolen and to always take a photo of your passport on your phone as well so you can show authorities if you lose the original one. Take pictures of license, car registration, insurance cards, birth certificates, voter's registration cards, social security cards, back of car showing license plate, etc. You never know when you will need it. (If you already have this in the book sorry - I still have to finish it!) Also put originals or paper copies in a file or safe deposit box in bank.I gave this 5 stars for the target audience - young adults. I plan to donate the book to my summer library when I'm completely finished reading it. Good job!

I love the Skimm and now all their fun tidbits are in one place!
Never did I think I would look forward to a daily e-newsletter when I signed up for the Skimm but I really do look forward to reading it every week day. It keeps me informed with both the serious news and the lighthearted stories as well.I was so pumped to see they were coming out with a book so all their fun knowledge and tidbits is in one place. Will be giving to a lot of my girlfriends as gifts!
