At first I was wondering why the hammer was needed, however the given the design of the product the use of that tool truly completes the job. Material was easy to work with, cut, apply. Gentle taps with the provided hammer make a super snug fit and clean line. Additionally - I was watching to see if anything would loosen after car washes and happy to report that everything absolutely stayed in place. Sleek look. Great product!

Used this on 2 vehicles, a 2013 Honda CRV and a 2010 F150 XLT. Install time for both was about 30 minutes, and I have a bunch left over. It feels tough and durable, while also looking pretty good, too. Note on the Ford: I was only able to install on the front doors as the back doors have rubber stripping on the inside top half of the doors right next to the edge.Super easy install, though a mallet is definitely required. The mallet included in the combo pack is very basic and you can probably buy one for cheaper, but it gets the job done and worth the 'convenience tax' for me.We'll see how these hang on once it gets over 120 degrees in August, however I feel confident that my children can continue to smack the car door into the brick wall and that this product will be able to protect the door edge.

Easy to install like the fact it come with a hammer

I purchased this item twice, it's great installed on a 2 door tacoma & a 4door dodge Dakota.It's held on well on both trucks it's nice & protects the doors from any denting from opening the doors & hides NY dents from previous times. It's more then enough too install on your doors. I even had enough to put on the sides of the tail gate & front bumper guards of these truck. Though they didn't need it it gives it a nice touch & has a nice finish to it.Great item, will purchase again for any future trucks🤙🏼

Because reviews are asked for quickly I can’t honestly appraise the longevity of this product. I wii say it installs as advertised and fits well. It has also proven to stay adhered during 110 degree days. Other products that use adhesives have all failed, eventually, even the major brand. Likewise they all left a residue in the end which is a mess to clean-up so that you can make a professional looking installation of this product. The one thing I would have appreciated would have been the color to have been available in chrome. This product also protests others vehicles as well as your own from minor scrapes and dings. Now, will it endure more than one or two years?

This edging is high quality! I used it around the faring on my motorcycle, looks great. The quality of the edging is top notch, the included a mallet to seat the edging is perfect. Thanks.

I was putting little door paint chips into my other car whenever the cybertruck's heavy door rested open on it. This work perfectly so that there is no metal on metal. I feel like it is a great look at fit, too!

This product was incredibly easy to install.I got the version with the hammer and as a bonus it came with trimming sheers.It uses metal u clips integrated in to the sheathing.Some have to removed at the end.I installed it top to bottom on my doors of a RAV4 and there is easily enough to do the entire trunk as well. You can't do a seamless install on a RAV4 because the door edge is too thin on one section.Total install time for 4 doors in 28°C heat was about 25 minutes.I am going to order another set for my next vehicle.I noticed when I took the photos I cut 1 piece too short. It will be a 5 minute fix

I was hesitant at 1st to buy this as alot of these are junk. So happy with the quality and ease of use! Everything you need to install looks like it's a factory option! Had plenty left over! Would recommend 💯

In winter the rubber becomes stiff and just like a stick that comes off so adhesive is not as effective as in summer otherwise very good product to protect the doors.

Excellent product...well made and very easy to install. Came with mallet and shears...looks great! Very happy with product. Installed on a 2019 Mazda 3 sport...enough to do all doors and trunk with leftovers.

This helps protect the car edge alot, especially since my driveway is ultra cramped. So I am easily assured to simply rest the car door edge to the side of the wall when I step out knowing the edge is taken care of by this amazing item.
