PD RK-28C Replacement Solenoid Kit

This is one of those delightful cases where the replacement is better than the original. I recently had to replace the solenoid on a very old inline Champion valve (an old plastic version) that requires you to disconnect the wires to unscrew the solenoid lest the wires get twisted. I was worried because the old solenoid looks different from the replacement wherein the coil slides over a separate screw-in metal part that seals the valve chamber. The new solenoid works perfectly & now I can easily remove the coil without worrying about twisting the wires. C.K.

I use this on an Orbit 1” sprinkler valve. (Orbit doesn’t make them anymore?). Works great, make sure to remove the old O- ring (other wise you will have two and won’t work).

Works perfect on an Imperial valve from 1993. It doesn't come pre-assembled and doesn't come with assembly instructions.

The solenoid pictured and on our system does not match the one that was sent. Although both have same part number. Unable to use or return.

Just removed the old one and slipped this replacement into the metal housing of the old one. Works like a champion! And it was much easier than replacing the entire valve.

Did the job. Controller now working. Easy replacement.
