This Bible is great for anyone that is starting to read the Bible and may find the KJV a little hard to understand at times but still wants to read it. Having the amplified version directly next to the KJV really helps to break down and elaborate on the KJV. Great for studying too. I really enjoy reading this one. Definitely recommend to the seasoned reader and beginners in the Word.

The print in this Bible is large. It's nice to the parallel of KJV with Amplified Version. It's nice style and size to carry to church.

This is a very nice Bible, I needed to get a large letter edition to make easier on the eyes. I like the Parallel Bible to help understand the context of the message. As I do not like the Early Modern English used. It is not the way we speak now so it can be confusing at times. So I use the Amplified to give me a little more insight to what is being conveyed. With this and Prayer Surely the Holy Spirit will Lead us to the Truth. The only down side to this Bible is extremely minor and that is I believe the cover could have been a little thicker but I ordered a new Bible cover for this one the same time I ordered this Bible which makes the cover of no issue at all. Unfortunately I am still waiting on my new cover. We are living in the Most Exciting Times in History. Bible Prophecy is being fulfilled at an Amazing pace unlike any other time in History. I have been a loyal Amplified Bible reader since first discovering it around 1970. I wear out my many editions. So I eagerly purchased this to replace my last Amplified/ New American Standard. Unfortunately, I did not know that there is a revised Amplified and the original or "classic" version is out of print and somewhat difficult to find. It's still a good translation in the updated revision, but it's not quite as comprehensive in my opinion as the "classic" or original publication. The updated version was originally published in 2015. The Classic version was published from 1954 onward until 2015, and is no longer published and in print. So be aware of the two different versions when purchasing.

The ease of use is fantastic. Purchased one for my husband and myself.

I have several Bibles, all of which came to me by happenstance. I will never permit a Bible to be thrown in the trash or languish unpurchased at a yard sale. But I wanted my very own Bible. This amplified version pairs the King James Bible with amplifying translations and context to make our Creator's words understandable.The book is beautifully printed in oversized text.

I was looking for a KJV and AMP Parallel Bible to eliminate carrying two Bibles. I have other Zondervan Bibles and Bible Study Materials that are great and used frequently.This online price was great for a Parallel Bible. This is a great daily READing/devotional Bible with the words of Jesus in red print. It's not too heavy for a Parallel Bible- two full bible versions the KJV and AMP next to each other aiding in understanding when reading the Bible.However, the quality of this Bible does not match any of my other Zondervan Bibles. I was sadly surprised to see: 1) The paper is extremely transparently thin, pages stick together, and tears easily. 2) The "large" print is smaller than it looks online and much smaller than any large print Bibles I have or even some regular size print. 3) This Parallel Bible lacks basic Bible tools of Chapter Subtitles or a basic Concordance with scripture references, or Glossay found in most Bibles.I think this Parallel Bible is better suited as a gift for Ministers of the Gospel - Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Elders, and Bible Teachers when speaking, teaching, or preaching to people with your glasses within reach. It's also good for regular folks who STUDY the bible searching for biblical truths and answers willing to use additional Bible study tools or apps like BibleGateway.The Bible is still the greatest love book written in the world that has answers for every aspect of life situations and circumstances.
