Oh. I didn’t know hot water was an option! I just used cold and it was fine.

Q: Would this work on paint too?

It is highly unlikely. Wallpaper remover is designed to break the adhesive used to bond wallpaper to the wall whereas paint stripper is designed to break the bonds of the paint or varnish itself. This then causes it to soften and be removed from the surface. With some paints and varnishes, heat guns can also be used but they need care as they can burn the timber or other surface. Both types of products have to be handled with extreme care as they can be quite caustic and extremely irritant - it is essential to wear plenty of protective clothing, eye protection etc. Hope this helps.

Q: I am looking to remove wallpaper from plasterboard walls without damaging the plasterboard - will this help?

I found this product to be extremely good. Tbh it worked better than a steam wall paper stripper
