Harbinger Lifting Hooks, Black/Blue

I've been meaning to purchase lifting hooks for a while now and I finally got around to it. I did a lot of research on lifting hooks before I decided to buy this particular model. I wanted something sturdy, strong, and comfortable. When I received this product in the mail I was a little surprised by how far apart the hooks are from each other, and how skinny the hooks were. I was worried that I had invested in the wrong model, but I decided to try it out anyway. I was surprised at how effective these lifting hooks were. They allowed me to lift much heavier weight, with much better form. I also paid close attention to the hooks and they didn't bend at all; these hooks are very sturdy. Also, the part that wraps around your wrist is very comfortable. The material is strong and quality. The rubber around the hooks are very nice as well. The only thing I didn't like was how far apart the hooks were, but this wasn't a big deal. I would definitely recommend these to a friend.

These lifting hooks are a great addition to my workout regime because I can work out muscle groups longer than my grip can hold out. This makes for a much better workout overall. The hooks are made from excellent materials and is comfortable.Con: The plastic coating on the metal hooks has torn and is not going to last long. I plan on dipping it into Flex Seal and hopefully that will last longer.Overall, Great product.

I bought these because I thought the concept was practical. At first, they were just okay. I figured there would be some adjustment period. Usually I use the old-school wrist straps. After using these hooks for two weeks, I developed a pain in my right elbow, one that I've never experienced and I've been working out for decades. (Usually I've developed pain in the forearm region). I went to a chiropractor and got a Tens machine. When I place the pads of the area of pain I notice that it always results in a twitching of the right ring and pinkie fingers. Then I recalled that when using these hooks, I emphasized the ring and pinkie fingers. I think it's just how these hooks fall on my hand from the wrist straps. It's a good product, but just not for me.UPDATED APRIL 12, 2107Harbinger responded to my review and requested that I contact them which I did. Harbinger send to me a website to other Harbinger weight lifting straps and offered to send me a pair of my choosing. I requested the Harbinger Big Grip No-Slip Nylon Lifting Straps with DuraGrip because they were the closest match to the old school weight straps that I have been using for decades. I received them quickly and have been using them since. I find them better than the old school weight straps aforementioned. The DuraGrip on the underside of the straps really do grip the barbell/dumbbell. Harbinger did not ask that I return my original purchase, nor did they charge me for the replacement straps. I do not like the harbinger Lifting Hooks, but I changed my rating based on Harbinger's customer service.

i love it! it has helped me lift heavier since my hand grip is weak. high quality material and fits perfect for my smaller wrists.

i bought a jayefo brand alternative (same as dmoose and others) to help me with dead hangs for shoulder stretching. They ripped after 1.5 years and revealed that the steel had sharp burrs that slowly ripped the fabric. the product advertised a lifetime warranty but the company is impossible to contact. very sloppy quality and service.i bought the harbinger hooks as a replacement and I could instantly tell that the design and build quality is way better and definitely worth twice the price of the jayefo. They're slightly more comfortable and way more durable; no sharp burrs to rip the fabric. The hook design lets me rest my fingers on the bar instead of a hook. i trust harbinger to follow through on a warranty if necessary much more than faceless chinese resellers

These are very good, but they are too large for my hands. I purchased a pair previously and gave up on them, gave them to a friend. Then I decided to give these another try. As long as I don't try to use my hands at all and just hang the weight in these they are fine. But then all the weight pulls on my wrists and I am not supporting it with hands at all. I am unable to wrap my fingers around these, but if I'm using an EZ bar I can angle them just so that I have at least 2 fingers around the bar. They do help me lift heavier, but if they had a smaller size option I would really be able to cash in on this gem. I recommend this item for anyone with hand length over 6.5 inches (from wrist to end of middle finger).

This product is garbage, there is no way they did real-world testing with this with individuals of different sizes who lift heavy. This product is meant to release strain from your hands, which helps avoid tendonitis, instead the metal buckle isn't covered by padding and you get it digging into the back of your hand. Furthermore, and worse yet, it hangs down so low (even on the short side - it gives you a long side and short side for hand sizes) that you are forced to use the last quarter of your fingertips to stabilize the bar which will only antagonize kr create tendonitis. It is a product that will only slow you down and hurts Harbinger's brand as a relatively consumer-oriented company in its designs. You are best off with wrist wraps or chalk, this product is garbage.

Very nice lifting hooks. I use these primarily for shoulder shrugs because i have gradually increased the weight i do up to 480lbs and i just was not able to maintain my grip on the bar for the full 10 to 12 reps. The straps are comfortable and they offer good adjustment options as well as the fact they fold back out of the way if you need to get a drink after your reps are over but not your set. So you don't need to take them off unless you are done using them. The pair i received had none of the problems others said they had with theirs. The hooks are coated nicely and evenly and there are no defects in the hooks or straps. I just hate i waited so long before buying them.

Better than other brand out there is lifting heavy is your goal. No issues.

I had a slight injury so couldn’t grip heavy stuff with 1 hand very well for a little while. These worked great since u can basically lift you deadlifts without any gripping at all
