I'm buying these for my son and i'm just a bit confused..when it says "down-road", does this refer to "high beams?" i need to buy another lb set?

No, these are high and low beams in one. Down road must mean seeing better down the road? I see better with these than ever before. I dont get flashed either. These are great. While I was at it I also put new blinker bulbs. I highly recommend these. I feel safer because they illuminate twice as good without bothering oncoming traffic

Are these high beam for a bmw 745i 2005? will they fit with no added work or tools?

H7s are the proper high beams for your car, and they will fit into the factory housing. You may need certain tools to gain access (such as getting to the back of the headlight) but the bulb itself will fit without the need for fancy tools.

I have an F30 bmw and I am wondering if replacing my headlight bulbs will result in a warning sign on my dash board?

If the originals are halogens, it will Not give any problems. I did the same with mu 2008 Mercedes ML63
