Necessary Evil
Still going through the book in prepare for my CTS-D. Updated edition has newer info about the networked audio and video formats/protocols such as Dante and AES67, streaming, etc. WeMll see how it goes!

Hardcover book does NOT come with PDF CD
I was happy to buy the new version of the book to see what changed, but I was very disappointed that the physical copy of the book did not come with a CD with a PDF version of the book. It was very handy for reference.

No PDF copy
Frustrated that it did not come with a PDF edition. You need to buy the ebook for $55. I am disappointed that AVIXA would do this.

Good education
Would have been better if it came with hard binding like CTS. Also, reducing one more star because they do not sent the hard copy certificate and merchandise in india. Pathetic service in delivery of that.

Great guide.
The second edition is a great studying companion and imperative for getting the CTS-D certification. This second edition has more up to date information and is a great compliment to the online courses
