Cheap product
I didn't expect much from this product since it was the least expensive. But I could not get it to conform to my system time. Every time I clicked on time settings it for some reason sent me to Kabul Afghanistan time??? Therefor it was useless for me. I tossed it in the garbage. Since it was cheap I just deleted it. Didn't even bother with returning it.

Setting Location is so easy I don't know why anyone would have trouble with ...
Setting Location is so easy I don't know why anyone would have trouble with it. Go to Panels > Preferences and put in your longitude and latitude and click OK. Anyway I love it I still have Redshift 5 on my old XP machine and I love it too.

Is Redshift 7 compatible with Windows 10
I am unable to use it in Windows 10. Could anyone help advice in this regard.

Note: this is just a DVD in a paper sleeve. The product picture looks like a retail box, and at the time of this feedback there's nothing visible in the product main view or details to indicate it's anything else, but it is. This fact is in Amazon's system somewhere, as when I went to leave seller feedback there was a comment in the compact product view that does say it's just a DVD in a sleeve... So, might be some confusion with Amazon, but my feeling is seller should do a better job reviewing their posting, i.e. ensure this is CLEAR in the description and includes a realistic picture. Honestly I'm very disappointed as this is a gift and looks like crap, and almost makes me suspect it's a ripoff/burned copy of the software. I'll give the benefit of the doubt there, but again, at the very least, the product should be described properly. Hopefully this review will help make things clearer to other buyers.I can't speak to how good the software actually is - as I said, this is a gift. If/when I hear from the recipient I'll consider revising review upward.

I prefer version 5.
My way out of Kabul (see George's review) was I saved the *.ws7 location file in my Documents folder, it wouldn't save in the Redshift workspace sub-directory, apparently that tree is read only.However, it did take me a bit of time and tinkering to get my desired location entered and saved. Oy. So only 3 stars.
