Hi, are 'loctite professional liquid super glue' and 'loctite 401 instant adhesive' the same product? thanks, gerry

The 401 loctite is a surface insensitive variation. It's very different to regular cyanoacrylate (crazy) glues. The 401 sticks far better to plastics, including nylon. It has something to do with acid content, you can find more online about it. The 401 is the best I've come accross for nylon. Using regular instant adhesive on nylon (and many other materials) will produce poor results. Research the best formulation of instant glue for your application. There are many different types and some materials require special primers for successful bonds.

How long does it take to dry???

I left it overnight to dry but it probably would dry in two hours in dry weather.

Does 401 work on glass?

Yes, but your mileage may vary.
