I’m in my 70’s and have naturally gray hair. In order to play down yellowish tones, I started using purple hair conditioner. It really just gives a lavender tone to my hair, not bright purple. A couple of drugstore brands I used were okay, but they didn’t deposit much color in the white hair around my face. This Paul Mitchell brand has been much more effective in depositing lavender highlights throughout my hair, including around the face. Plus, it conditions my hair better. As for me, I leave the conditioner on my hair while I shower and rinse it out last. So far, this product is working for me.

This is a pretty good product. Years ago they had one just made for white or gray hair that seemed to work a little bit better. Unfortunately, this is probably the best one on the market right now.

Paul Mitchell Platinum Blonde Conditioner is a wonderful product I have been using alongside the Paul Mitchell Platinum Blonde Shampoo, since allowing my wavy hair to grow gray naturally. It removes any reddish/brasy tones I have as well as adds a natural softness while removing the "frizz" that comes with curls in a humid climate. The scent is fresh and the texture less thick than other conditioners I've used in the past, which I especially like because it allows an all over coverage more easily.
