Great Iron-- With Parts That are Replaceable !!!!
I owned a Rowenta Pro ironing Station Center...I tried the Rowenta irons and like them very much...Unfortunately,They work great until they break as most of you know..Maybe a year or two is the average based on my experience and reviews that I have read of others. However, the Rowenta Pro Station Iron Center lasted a bit longer than their normal steam irons (3.5 years for me)... But You cant get parts for Rowenta!! I tried !So I went searching for a replacement...After significant research I settled on the Hi-Steam SVP-24. I have had it several months and it has "Not" disappointed. It creates much more continuous steam than the Rowenta- a lot more... My Wife says the Hi-Steam is does much better than the Rowenta. We have even steamed some clothes without ironing. Another Plus is that they even make an iron shoe that can purchased for the iron that fits snugly and does a fantastic job too ($12.49 plus shipping --Iron Shoe Hi-Steam MVP35/SVP24)... (If you get it...Here's a tip for ya...Dont pull the spring over the handle of the iron to hold it on it will get in the way of your hands...Just pull it over the front plastic heat guard. I tell you this because it doesn't come with instructions to install it. I think if you put it on as I am instructing you will enjoy it so much more and it wont get in the way of your ironing)One last thing, if you are like me and you don't want to pay too much for this iron...Then buy it from Wawak on amazon they seem to have the best price by far...--Wawak also has a website you can check out too for a better selection of their iron shoes. They are great source for equipment for unbeatable prices. They make them for a lot of different irons--Including Rowenta--seriously. Anyway, I didn't mean to ramble on...But when I find something that really works I want to share it with people who are looking for great equipment at a fair price !!The Hi-Steam may cost a bit more, but it is worth it ! What I like best is that you can get replacement parts for literally every part of the iron !!! from switches, to the iron, to the boiler, etc. It is all replaceable----You cannot get parts for the Rowenta--You throw theirs away, because most repairs through their repair center cost either too much or it is of poor value!Oh yeah, one more thing,....Did I mention it is made in THE USA. Now there's a another good reason to purchase this iron!

Fantastic Commercial Iron
I've you've been wanting a serious, commercial iron, this is a nice choice. Not only is it amazing looking in your laundry room, but there is simply no comparison with a household iron. It is incredibly hot and produces a huge amount of steam. That being said, you can burn yourself easily with the steam! So watch out.The only downside is that there is no way to tell how much water is left in the machine other than a dipstick that is included with the item. This product is screaming out for a water gauge.I also purchased a Teflon cover which allows it to flow more easily over fabric- Iron Shoe Hi-Steam MVP35/SVP24

Longlasting and reliable at a great price!
I am a manufacturer and bought this product as a replacement. It gets constant use five days a week, is very reliable and will last a long time. If you are not using it all day every day it will probably last a lifetime!
