This is the workbook that I need for my Grandson. This is just exactly what I was looking for. It has a variety of exercises to help strengthen his learning experience for first grade. It's not just affordable, but the activities are rather easy for them to understand. It has sentence comprehension, understanding shapes, mathematics, letters and so much more. My Grandson is going to not only enjoy using this book, but he will learn so much.

Bought this for the kiddo as a supplement for his current grade/class studies. Perfect for weekends, times without homework, travelling and dining out as a meaningful educational activity. You can also use this in summers as a prep for their grade. The spiral binding seals the deal as it can be opened to a single page for focusing and space reasons. They cover all the topics from spelling, vocabulary , sentence structure, math through puzzles, logic and small 'assignments'. Each page takes a few minutes and even when it's "easy" it still reinforces learning, and is not 'boring'. We set smaller quotas of completion each day, that with the fun and reinforcement, easily exceed that goal each day. Absolutely worth the investment.

I purchased this for my upcoming first grader to work on during the summer. There's a nice variety of activities covering, reading, math, word problems and some activities over money and time. The largest section was the reading section, which was fine by me since I wanted my child to have extra practice. I think the material covered in it will help with the first part of first grade. There were some activities that were a breeze and seemed like a review of kindergarten. I plan to purchase more of these books if they have other grades available.
