My husband found this mask for me to use for snorkeling because I had complained that the "traditional" mask does not fit my Asian nose/face allowing salt water to enter into my eyes. Also, I distaste the accidental swallows of salt water around my mouth and when the mouth bite becomes loose, and the snorkel picks up water from over tilting my head into the water. This mask is the answer to all my problems. The fit is perfect for me and even for my petite daughter who has a very small face. I believe my mask size is small/medium. The seal is comfortably snug all around my face; no water came into the mask. The mask did not fog up on my first use. I only used it once for a snorkeling excursion along the coast of St. Maarten. The snorkel automatically closes when immersed into water from over tilting my head. I knew this when no air was available for me to breath. I highly recommend this mask. I would consider buying another one, so I would not have to share.

Fitting your face properly can be tricky, the air check valve takes a little getting used to but is effective. Field of View is quite good, clear. Facial hair can/may/had caused leakage. 5-6 foot dives at the most, anything more that that become painful/uncomfortable on you face.***Chief complaint is airflow, breathing is labored with moderate physical exertion but not to the point of causing panic. You don't feel like you are suffocating but kind of asthmatic, you just can't quite get enough air...No fogging though :)

I can’t justify renting tourist snorkeling gear for the price of this. Minor leakage (easily managed), great venting, excellent fog resistance... just some minor pressure on my forehead after extended use. When you dive, there is zero water getting in.Loved the fact that I could breath through my nose and mouth - beats having a mouth piece and gagging with spit everywhere.Slight complaint is: I packed two for Bermuda and they kinda took up a lot of room, but honestly, I overpacked. We are planning on going to Hawaii next year, and these are definitely going with us.

We bought four masks and three of them worked good. Unfortunately we bought them before Christmas for a present in preparation for a vacation and just used them now(in March). The thing that was strange about ordering wasn't in the sizing but in getting masks that had a round lens or ones that looked like goggles but were still full face masks. We didn't know that they would come and have different lenses. There is a noticeable difference in viewing because there is a small "blind spot" with the mask that has "goggles" formed out of the lens. Also, the way the mask sits on your face is a small enough difference that my son would rather use something different. The one he got is the same size as my daughters but because of the different lens it sits on his face funny and slightly hurts the bridge of his nose. I tried giving him a larger size(he has a S/M and I have the L/XL) but that didn't really help since it was too big and didn't seal well. I'm going to see if I can't order the same kind my daughter got for him.

for military personal the feel of this mask is much like wearing a gas mask the priceable set up is much the same, air come in from the top and is expelled form the bottom of the mask as long as you remain on tom of the water the mask will not fog. issue start happening with prolonged use under water the mask will start to fog and is hard to clear. proper fitting is very important. if it is not properly fitted, cleared and sealed to the face it will leak parts must be checked and double check for security. if anything goes wrong during the usage time it is almost impossible to fix in the water.

I ordered my mask for my cruise to the Caribbean. I tried snorkeling last year with a regular mask and didn't see a thing. As I'm not a strong swimmer much less trying to remember to breath into the tube. My cousins had a similar full mask so I thought I'd try it. Well I want to say I love it. I was able snorkel twice on my cruise last week. I could see clearly and perfectly. My mask not once fogged up. I didn't have to worry about remembering to breath through the tube. And it was easy to pack into my suitcase. I would definitely and have recommended it to others.

I bought this for swimming. My sensitive neck causes me lots of stress when taking breath during swimming. I was looking for a solution to be able taking breath without lifting my head. The legacy snorkel requires biting on the plastic mouth piece which doesn't suit me. The bigger goggles usually cover nose as well which irritates me. This MASTERPIECE allows me a regular breath under water. Full view without stress around my eyes.I can only imagine how sea sight feels with this mask. I have a trimmed beard, so after a few rounds I felt some drops accumulating under my nose but this was solved once I tightened the strap. Swimming has evolved to a new level for me. I am really thankful.

We bought these for our first scalloping outing. I ordered a S/M and my husband ordered a L/XL. Mine fits snug around my face and goes below my chin. My husband’s sits on his chin (he has a pretty large head) so we weren’t sure how well it would seal. Just to try it out, we went in the pool and they both sealed perfectly. No water got in at all. When we submerged our heads, the ball valve closed up on the snorkel and didn’t let any water in either. The rubber/silicone edge is VERY comfortable on our faces...not like the cheap traditional eye/nose masks I’ve had in the past.
