- Nick's Sticks Clean & Balanced 100% Grass-Fed Beef Snack Sticks (6-1.7oz)

Our favorite kind of beef snack. My oldest loves snacking on these. They have been great to throw in his back pack for a quick snatch and to keep in the car. We have tried many different kinds of beef sticks and this has by far been more superior. There made from good quality ingredients and I feel good about giving these to my kids.

On a keto diet, these meat sticks type things are a great keto friendly "go to" item, for a snack or as part of a meal. This is, I think, the fourth brand of the basic "meat stick" now that I've tried, so I am comparing them to other brands I've ordered and eaten already. For my taste, these are just perfect. Some brands lean toward being hard to chew, almost like jerked beef, and some lean toward being mushy, almost like a raw hot dog. Like a Goldilocks tale, Nick's Sticks got it just right. Excellent texture on these, just a bit of chewiness without being tough. Outstanding flavor. Mine arrived fresh, a long expiry date, so plenty of time to eat them, but didn't have to worry about that because they were so tasty that they got gobbled up right quick. My only issue is that I wish they came in single packs. I tend to eat just one, but the double pack (and great taste!) makes it tempting to eat two obviously, and an extra step is needed to package up the spare one for next time. But, these are also the least expensive of the meat sticks on here, that I've tried, so maybe that's as a result of doubling up with two sticks in one wrapper. I do appreciate the savings and, not a big deal to toss the other one in a ziplock bag for later. Just not as simple, when on the road, or out and about, and nowhere to store the opened package. Good excuse to eat both, but then of course these don't last as long, going through two at a time. Perhaps that's the thinking behind this double package? Anyway, I love these, and will buy them again (already have!) so, very easy to recommend, but just know that they do come two in a package, a minor caveat. Hope this helps, thanks for reading. :)

I have Celiac disease so traveling can be a challenge. Airlines serve pretzels (wheat) and Planters Peanuts?? :-/ No, Peanuts are not safe, they are processed in plants that also process wheat. Airports are full of fast food and very little is safe for a Celiac. This year on our annual trip to Florida I was determined to plan ahead so I didn't starve on our 7 hour trip. Most Jerkies have soy in them, again not safe for a Celiac so I had to search the net. As always Amazon was the reliable source for me! Nicks Stick are fabulous! They are portioned generously for sharing, they are not overly salty, and seasoned perfectly for me. They were a godsend on this trip. I had allotted the packages for the trip down and back and had plenty until my husband got hooked on them and we faught over them a little. I would have no problem rating them with 5 stars based on taste. I gave them 4 stars because the packages are a little hard to open.... usually the very top portion of jerky packages have a slit or the plastic is separated enough to pull apart. These packages were so closed up you couldn't open them without a lot of cursing and sometimes help. Jerky is a quick convenient snack, you should be able to open them quickly. Sometimes I would need scissors..... Other than that I will be definitely buy these again!

Finally a Beef Stick who's ingredients I can pronounce. Nothing weird, or artificial. Just beef... imagine that!

These healthy beef sticks are really good!

We have loved these in the past and though these say they expire 11/24 some of the sticks are different colors and when tasting the one that looked the best it really was not good. Could be a packaging issue, but we can’t eat what we received. I’m sure the company will make it right, but make sure you check the packaging and quality before eating.

I love these meat sticks when I purchase them in store. However, I will not purchase them online again. I have had these on subscribe and save but my last two deliveries came with expired beef sticks.

I was skeptical about the price at first, but bought them anyway because my nephew reeeaaaallly wanted to try them. (He'd seen it plugged on one of his favorite shows.) When they arrived, however, I felt much better about spending the $16 --- these are LONG sticks and come two to a pack! My nephew takes one to school most days instead of a packed lunch; he's a picky eater, and also forgets to eat when he's "in the zone" with studies or time with friends. The Nick Sticks make a great compromise on a "to go" snack that will carry him through most of a school day. Also, the taste is so much better that he's given up the more mass-produced, additive-laced versions at the grocery stores. So, it's not an "every day" snack, but something we will definitely budget for each month. Highly recommend!
