Not intended for outdoor use. Has minor dings and minor paint blemishes which are normal for this item and not considered defective. Door can sometimes be difficult to open which is easily solved by applying paraffin, bee's wax, graphite or crayon to the edge of the door AFTER you have completed decorating or painting it.

Cute and practical
I ordered 4 of these mailboxes - they arrived promptly - were smaller than I thought they'd be - also , the tabs used to open the mailboxes bend easily and fell off of 2 of them the first time I opened them. They are welded on and I don't have welding equipment so we're out of luck. I don't think super glue or soldering will fix the problem since the tabs will be pulled when opening the mailbox. They are still cute and practical. We used them for Valentines Day to deliver small candy treats to each family member. I bought small magnetic clips to put on the side of the box to hold cards and used magnetic letters and hearts to identify names of recipients. We put these on small white trays lined with red felt - festive and fun. I would have given 5 stars if the tabs hadn't fallen off.
