Good enough for Richard Feynman, Good Enough for Me
Got my copy. In case you don't know or aren't a big fan of physics, Richard Feynman got ahold of this book and self-taught himself calculus with it. That opened the door to him for advancements in quantum physics later in his life. I will never be like him, but it is a great (and yes, it's dated, but so is *Newton* who helped start all this Calculus stuff) tool for learning the nuts and bolts of Calculus. Highly recommend if you don't mind the style - download the sample and the book is exactly like _that_ the whole way through. Great read and exercise book!

I’m a practical man. Let’s do some Calculus!
It’s a classic for a reason. Just buy it. If you read it, you will learn something. It might not turn you into the next Nikola Tesla, but you’ll be able to impress your friends with all kinds of calculus at your next party. And hey, even if they’re not impressed, it’s still useful for a variety of other things.

Calculus for the practical man
An interesting introduction to calculus that reads like a book. I enjoy sitting down and following his approach to the build up of each section. Enjoyable.

Good book, does not match picture
It looks like the paperback and hardcover photos are backwards. I was disappointed because the softcover is actually really ugly compared to the item picture. Still a good book though.

Great book that allows you to teach yourself or to merely brush up on what you already know!
Richard Feynman picked up this book to teacher himself Calculus & he ended up working on the Manhattan Project! This is a great book to brush up your knowledge of Calculus or to even to teach yourself. 10/10 would recommend to add to the collection.

Best explanation of calculus I've encountered
I have a Bachelor's with a minor in math, but that was decades ago. Now, approaching my 60's, I was looking for a re-introduction to calculus (just because I'm a nerd). I'm not the brightest bulb in the pack so I need things explained to me simply, and then built upon. This book does a masterful job of that. Usually in books on math or science subjects I end up reading the same sentence (or paragraph) multiple times. As I said, not the brightest bulb. But with this book every single sentence and explanation was intuitive and easily understandable. After attempting several books on calculus, this is the only one I actually completed. If this can teach calculus to me, it can teach calculus to anyone.

Kindle version not worth purchasing
The Kindle version appears to be a tenth generation photostat with ink blots, missing data from many formulas, at least one chart with most of the data missing. No effort was made to fix or correct these issues to the point that this version should not be available for sale. I purchased this to learn and review calculus concepts but I will be looking elsewhere. (Update) Also I noticed that the derivation of the formula for the period of a pendulum is wrong; the correct formula is T equals two pi times the square root of L divided by G.
