Looks Great!!
I used this film to dress up some marker lights. (See before and after pics) Took me 2 tries to get the film to work the way I wanted it to, but I'm not a pro who wraps cars every day. Real chrome does look better imo, but this isn't bad. The shine is consistent with a stretched piece of aluminum foil. It does reflect images but not with any sort of mirror like detail. If you have plastic parts, it works great and price is on point too.

Excellent for props and models
I purchased this chrome vinyl wrap after a friend recommended it. I'd spent several months trying to get an attractive silver finish on a custom-sculpted replica weapon, using a wide variety of metallic paints and finishing sprays that cost a fortune and were a nightmare to work with. After so much frustration, I didn't expect a happy result. So when the vinyl arrived and I gave it a try, it felt like using a miracle product! This vinyl was way tougher and more scratch resistant than I expected, meaning even my clumsy first attempt gave remarkable results. It didn't stretch as much as I expected, but I suspect that's because the only heat source I had to work with was a basic hair dryer. Using an actual heat gun, I imagine it would stretch much farther and more easily. Best of all, it took beautifully to top coats of sealant. Though vinyl is usually a sensitive surface and tends to turn tacky when exposed to solvent-based paints, I was able to apply clear lacquers over this to achieve a variety of effects, both without damaging the vinyl and without losing the stunning reflective properties. I used this to my advantage for several smaller projects. I used several different methods for these; applying matte lacquer over it to create a gorgeous brushed metal look, using gloss lacquer to create a toothy texture to add pearl pigments, and sealing with lacquer and then coating with high gloss polyester resin for a permanent, durable sheen. I also found it works great with candy color transparent acrylics, letting me create custom candy finishes on models in colors that aren't available as vinyl wrap on their own. It's been weeks since I did these and though some of the weapon props get handled and roughed around while they're transported and used for photo shoots, the vinyl looks just as good as the day I put it on.After such a great experience working with this stuff in small scale, I'm discussing a VViViD vinyl wrap with my dad as customization for one of his project cars and we're both excited at the prospect.

Works ok...
This is my first time using vinyl. I watched a few videos beforehand a felt it was worth my time to give it a try. Affordable price to change the look. *** So the two issues I had were ***1. A few times the vinyl would crease when removing the back. Since it comes rolled up tight, I think that is a little of the issue. Keep it at room temp for a few days before even cutting it. Tried heating and not heating the vinyl before pealing the back off. Just seemed random with getting a crease vs not.2. Vinyl seems to scratch rather easy. I bought a plastic vinyl kit with lots of different shapes push in tools. They help a lot, but ultimately my finger nail worked best. From a few feet away, it looks just fine. Up close the imperfections can be seen. Will see how this holds up over time and throughout the winter.

Not consistent quality
Bought this twice. First one was amazing . I decided to finish the project so I ordered more. Second one was unusable the backing and the protective layer all separated full of creases and no adhesion. Problem solved fast with seller.

Great quality
It's the the perfect thickness I used other wrap that are a thiner this one is definitely better. The chrome has amazing finish. I definitely definitely feel that the paint underneath will be protected when I need to take the wrap off.

IT IS NOT A VINYL WRAP
Dog not buy !!! It's not a car or motorcycle wrap, vinyl wrap needs to be thin and not s supper sticky, they usually come way more easier to handle and you can lay it in the part and adjust it multiple times, this is such a waste of time patience and money...OH ALSO THE LIGHTEST SPREAD WITH A SQUEEGY WILL MESS UP THE WHOLE CHROME LOL

Great stuff!
This vinal wrap works great, the lines you see on some pictures are on the clear protective sheet that needs to be removed before applying the vinyl. Some reviews state that it doesn't conform even with heat, I'm almost 100% certain that those who can't get it to stretch around corners have not removed the clear top sheet. If you still can't get it to form around edges after removing the top layer than you may have gotten counterfeit cheap Chinese wrap.I'm using it as a temporary fix for the grill parts on my 1951 Ford Shoebox, it came out really nice. Will upload pictures when I get a chance.
