Ignorance

Despite being an influential band, Sacred Reich have never really received the respect and recognition they deserve. But their debut album 'Ignorance', originally released in 1987, is unquestionably an essential thrash classic and is now available again in the form of this excellent reissue by Metal Blade Records.The album has been nicely remastered and sounds fantastic. Opener 'Death Squad' and the frenetic title track are worth the price of admission alone, but the album is packed with killer riffs and all the speed, aggression and attitude you would expect to find on a first rate metal album. This edition also boasts five bonus tracks, comprising the 'Metal Massacre VIII' version of the title track and four songs from the 'Draining You Of Life' demo. The CD is housed in a nice digipak which bears the original black and white artwork, while the fold-out inlay/poster features the generic blindfolded man/plane crash image.This '30th Anniversary Edition' is undoubtedly the best version of 'Ignorance' released to date and is highly recommended to ALL fans of good metal.
