Fits! But bracket issues, and tolerances TOO exact.
It mostly fits! There's a big design flaw though, which actually impacts any deep stereo units mounted directly to the dash kit. Due to the shifter being in the way, you actually can't install this with a deep stereo mounted in the included brackets. This isn't an issue with the stock stereo + stock faceplate, as the faceplate + controls for that stereo detach from the double-DIN stereo unit entirely via a connector. I installed a double DIN screen, which thankfully was only deep enough to need the front few screw holes, and I used my dremel to slice off the back half and a triangle off of the top back corners of the brackets. This allows me to maneuver the faceplate into place after connecting the stereo and AC controls. I DID have to shave off a bit of the faceplate's inner window opening to get the screen in, though. This seems to be an issue with these double DIN screens, as both screen units that I tried were slightly off of the 100mm x 180mm spec- on the order of 1-3mm. The metra dash kit tolerances are perhaps TOO tight- my first head unit was 2-3mm too tall for this kit, and my second head unit was 1-2mm too tall, but shaving off some plastic from the faceplate got it to fit. The holes were also tight- one of my holes was actually very very slightly off (1/4 mm, maybe?)- which resulted in a screw going in at a subtle angle and stripping the hole. Thankfully I managed to get the other three screws in and all is secure. Having a the bracket holes just a little oversized would fix this constraint issue. You DO have to pull the little white clips off of the old faceplate to use on the new faceplate.
