Great for cutting drywall
Works great. I love it. I'm a union carpenter and it works great for drywall. When you put a blade in it you're then able to score the drywall and snap it. After you snap the drywall you can fold it backwards and cut from the front to the back. You can then pull the drywall back towards you and it will snap off. It also works great for sharpening pencils. I have sharpened a lot of pencils with it. The blade wears out so I have to change the blade a lot. That's not their fault though. You have to change the blade on all of the competitions drywall knives as well. It is very easy to use. It is lightweight and it is very smooth so it moves in your hand very easily when you take it out of your tool pouch. This makes cutting drywall very easy. I can flip it from upside down to right side up with two fingers very easily.

This knife will outlive you
The grip is great, I love the D-ring design to rotate the screw that keeps the utility knife handle joined together. There is no blade movement when using it, it is definitely worth the price of it.The only cons I can think of is that the extra blades rattle on the inside but I found some reusable wall putty that I use to get rid of that noise. The blade does have to be sheathed but I had an extra leather knife sheath size small B3a from RK Leatherworks and it fits nicely inside of it. I have had this utility blade for a year and I'm sure I'm going to buy another one dedicated in the garage tool kit.

Really love these knives
Ergonomics are great. Fits in the hand perfectly and the shape is just right for any flooring work or even drywall. The only thing I don’t like about them is Blade storage capacity only holds about 5 blades. And no where to put old blades.

One Awesome Utility Knife
This is by far the my favorite utility knife made.I have been doing drop ceilings for over 23 yrs and I have used a lot of knives but this is my go to knife. It fits in the hand perfectly and the arch in the nose is just right.I love that I can unscrew the knife without a screwdriver and it doesn't have to come completely apart to change the blade. You simply loosen it just enough to swivel the two handles and change the blade.Another great thing about this knife is that it only has one blade impression so you can set the blade to stick out pretty far if you like.I gave it 4 stars because of one thing that is a pain....The finish on this knife, similar to others with this type of finish, will leave a black residue on your hands consistently. Because I install ceiling tiles, that transfers onto the tiles when installing.Everything you touch that is a finish product will have that black/grey metallic smut on it.I though that eventually it would stop rubbing off the knife but after 2 days of constant use, it was still bad.I ended up sanding the knife and painting over it with a primer and so far, I haven't had any issues.I would love to see Orcon make this knife in a painted version.Otherwise, this is the BEST utility knife made.If you're not touching anything that is a finish product, then you will have no issues.
