Works well . Easy to use it does very clean cuts. Blades change out quickly. Pick up a box of blade , they wear out quickly

Went great for four feet. Then stopped. Refused to cut anymore carpet. Even when trying to start a new cut, it seemed like the blade was too dull to actually cut it. I didn't expect high-quality due to the reviews here, but I expected to be able to finish cutting the carpet. Returning it.

This is a handy tool but a utility knife works just about as well if you are careful using it.

It kinda works. I will admit that my carpet skills are weak. Maybe someone who knows what they are doing can actually cut straight lines with this. It worked ok. I was using it on a crappy berber. Maybe a shag would be easier? It was sharp but the fibers would get stuck in the notch and it would not glide more than a foot or so at a time. So it did not make cutting go much faster for me, but again I am not a skilled carpet installer.

Works great. I used it to cut my pool cover to size. Very easy to use.

Worked just as described, I did not find it cheap looking as I have seen other reviewers describe it. It worked out great for me affer laying several yards of carpet I am happy with this tool.

This did not seem to work very well. I tried to use this with what I would consider average thickness carpet. I was not able to get it going more than a couple inches. I kept reverting to a knife. I suspect the metal versions do a better job.
