I bought this in early april, and have been using it for class and the occasional game, for about 6 months. For the price they’re asking, it’s a great device. Audio/video output has been fantastic, and it looks a lot better on the surface than just about every other option. Now, after relatively heavy use for that long, the audio jack is a bit touchy. I’ve had to fiddle with it a bit to get it working, but all the other ports function with no issue. Keeping the review 4 star because despite the wear, it was a pretty cheep product and worked perfect until now. With any direct plug-in extensions I expect them to go bad after a while. It’s just bound to happen with all the weight of your chords literally hanging on the devices plugs.

I don't usually leave reviews but Honestly this is a really good product. I just purchased a surface go and needed a little extra to maximize it's abilities and this was perfect. Its snug fit makes it easy to use (doesn't fall off all the time) and it looks good (not too big or bulky). I can easily transfer data via USB and if I forget my charger I can use my phone's USB-C charger to charge it. The only issue I have is that when it's plugged in you can pair blue tooth headphones to it (or I just don't know how) because it thinks audio is already plugged in. Other than that, great product.

I was hoping that the Surface Stick would help the sound be louder but it didn't. I think the sound level on the Surface Go is just not as loud as I want it to be. I do like that the Surface Stick does plug into the sound and not cover it up. I do like that I have an HDMI port and a USB port and the USB C port.

Small, lightweight and powerful. Like it. The only tiny drawback is that it might detach from the Go when you remove an HDMI plug from it, this can be avoided by careful and gentle movement. I love my surface go. it does 90% of what I want - the CharJenPro makes it fantastic. This inexpensive little device makes the surfacego a laptop when you need it and and stores handily away when you want to minimize the surface size for travel or as a take-along. Slips on and off easily. I don't need an i7 processor or a terabyte drive, I need handy and versatile. The CharJenPro makes it very versatile. I have used all 4 ports and can't imagine anything else I might ever need.Bravo

I had to replace my old Surface 3, and I went with the Surface Go. It was what I could afford at the time, and the tech specs were a nice little upgrade from my previous tablet. The one issue I had with it was a lack of ports that I was used to having with the surface 3. This product solves that problem for me, beautifully! Being able to plug in a USB drive to my Surface Go is an absolute necessity, and the HDMI out makes displaying video on my TV a breeze. Simple, functional, slick design. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I use an older logitech marble mouse trackball and needed the old standard usb ports. i also wanted something small and matches the surface go and this item works for that purpose. The HDMI and the usb-c port on the dock also works fine. I haven't tested the audio out port though. I'm happy with the item. It is a bit more expensive than the others, but I think the others are larger, so you do pay a premium for portability.

Great product. We use it every week to watch streaming videos on the big screen. (HDMI port) Well made, and easy to use. Well worth the price for the additional utility it adds to the Surface.

Buen producto el puerto USB queda un poco (mínimo) flojo, el audio se desactiva cuando se conecta, por lo que tienes que usar audífonos o conectar bocinas.En general funciona bien.

No pude conectarlo al puerto hdmi.

Funciona excelente, no tengo ningún inconveniente. No se siente flojo al instalarlo
