P Trap 1 1/4 OD PVC, Chrome Plated

Chrome plated plastic. Won't rust. I got tired of replacing the metal traps every few years. Fit my sink just fine. Came with all of the fittings I needed to install it.

First time replacing a p-trap. I used this to replace a badly corroded metal trap, and it worked great. I had ordered a white PVC trap but it didn't come with every connection I needed. This item had everything. I did not need to use any glue, putty, etc to make a leak proof connection (at least so far!). Definitely worth the price for me.

Great alternative to expensive brass fittings, or cheap, shoddy pot metal fittings. The look of chromed metal, the convenience of pvc slip joint fittings. Even includes a "Marvel" connector, for gluing to 1.5" PVC drain lines, and slip joint to the line going to the P Trap. Only reason not giving 5 stars, you have to be careful sliding the escushion on, or off, as it will scrape the finish slightly.

Worked great in our bathroom remodel. Can't tell it from chrome and will probably last longer. And of course much less cost involved.

I loved the product and price . . . if only it worked. I do not understand the good reviews. Perhaps I got a bad batch, as I sent the first defective set back only to receive another defective set in its place with the exact same issue. The chrome nut on the wall piece will not thread properly onto the J-piece (it only cross-threads). I had no issues when I ordered the parts from a different company, so I am inclined to believe it is not user error but a manufacturing defect.

Nice part. Chrome plastic has a nice finish. Even includes the PVC adapter as photographed.
