instant fix for condensation and black mould
Easy to install, is practically silent and works really well. The whole house feels fresher and there is no condensation in any room since fitting it. We live in a 200 year old stone cottage and this has been a godsend. Cheapest price we could find it was Amazon. £306 when most places were £349. I can't really go on about it enough. We set ours at maximum and then tweaked it down until the condensation came back and then put it back up one.Only slightly negative (and its not really) is the upstairs hall way is just a couple of degrees colder than the rest of the house but we don't live in the upstairs hallway so it doesn't really matter. worth every penny.

Seems pretty good
So been looking at these for a while. We live in a bungalow and it suffers from poor ventilation. My wife also has asthma and does struggle with the stale air. We run a dehumidifier at night - does the trick but over winter last year (after having new windows, and roof) we still got condensation in the mornings - there is also the cost.So thought i would give a PIV a chance as I liked what I read. initially I looked at getting one installed but the price put me off. After watching a few YouTube videos I figured that I would buy one and just do it myself. Was pretty straight forward to be honest only an hour or so total to get it up and running. I already had sockets in the attic so I just wired it up to a three pin plug and used the correct fuse. Its very quiet, even if you run it on the highest fan speed. The dehumidifier is now detecting around 50 which is within the normal limit - some 10-20 lower than before.Time will tell how good it is once the cold weather starts, I will update the review then but I am hopeful that will help.*update*With the recent cold snap I wanted to give an update. Temperatures have been as low as -3°C outside. At night we have the heating set to 16°C as normal.Every time last year prior to having the PIV we had condensation on every window in the bungalow. This was after the new roof, insulation and windows. Also every year around this time, the toilet cistern would be covered in condensation as it is directly onto an external wall and we usually had to put a towel down behind the seat. This year with the PIV - absolutely nothing. No condensation on the windows, or the cistern. Super happy with the purchase, doing exactly what I was hoping for and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to anyone in a similar position. You can definitely notice the colder air being pumped in, but where I located the unit - don’t find that it causes much of an issue - I think some people may prefer the version with the heater element but I have not noticed it drastically reducing our hallway temperature.Remains whisper quiet, and had no issues with it.

Reduces Humidity Brilliantly
I live in a Victorian detached house on a main road. We recently had all of the windows replaced with UPVC double glazing. This keeps the house warmer and less noisy but massively increased a mould problem that already existed- the humid air now having nowhere to escape- we found mould in cupboards, on books, on the bed, on furniture (basically everywhere) as well as on the usual places like on walls behind furniture. It took me 2 days to get it all cleaned up (using HG mould cleaner- highly recommended and much better than bleach for this job).So I bought a number of dehumidifiers to place around our very large house (meaco 12 litre ABC range- also highly recommended). Then I realised this was going to add £100s of pounds per annum to our electric bill.So I fitted one of these to help combat the humidity; absolutely brilliant. The dehumidifiers are now working much less than they were before- collecting only 1/4 of a bucket a day (as opposed to the previous whole bucket per day) because this thing is driving most of the humidity out of the house on its own. It makes the landing a little cold- but we haven't noticed anywhere else becoming cold as a result. It has the added side benefit of creating circulation in the attic space- eliminating condensation problems we were having in there too.My wife was worried about this being noisy- it isn't. We run it on speed 5 (6 being the max) and you can only hear it if you stand directly under the diffuser on the landing.I absolutely recommend this product to bring humidity levels right down- it's incredible and only cost a penny a day to run.

It does work!!
If like me you install the fan but still have condensation the next morning before you go messing about with the fan have a check around your home for air leaks. I found I had a window in the back bedroom where the top opener didn't seal properly so a bit of clear duct tape on that sorted that, I also had chimney vents on the gable walls so cover those up. But the biggest problem in my house was the airing cupboard in the bathroom there was no ceiling to it so the air was just recirculating back to the attic. A peice of Pir rigid insulation sorted that problem out and hey presto no more condensation. My house is a stone wall construction 120 year old and this fan has cured the condensation and mold growth on the wall so a really good investment.

Amazing!
I fitted this model in the loft of our damp old farmhouse in France. Last year the place was very damp ofter a winter away but this year the problem appears to be solved. It's true we also spent money on fixing the roof but the Drimaster has done a great job over another wet winter. I must confess I was a bit sceptical but it really does work!

What condensation
Tried it all new windows, air bricks, paint and dehumidifier all just moved the condensation to another area. Then like magic Nuaire was the solution. Fantastic bit of kit. Great value from money. Exceptional performance with low noise level. Service and installation very easy.
