Really can't go wrong with this one right here. Been wearing this for years. It's basically the swiss army knife of my cologne selection. Perfect for any season and weather. Perfect for any occasion; formal, informal, and casual. Also with this one you don't have to worry about over-applying. You can put it all over your upper, and it might come off strong for the first 5 min, but it'll wear down to a light aura that you can be confident in. Also, this one doesn't seem to be too common in the states; unlike cool water, curve, aspen, burberry, jovan, hollister, hummer, calvin klein, etc. So you shouldn't have to worry about smelling like someone's ex. For whatever reason this fragrance was popular in Puerto Rico from what I could tell, but I'm no expert on trends and all that. I just know the smell of a decent cologne and when it's appropriate. So if you're like me; style is young and fresh 365 days out of the year, your game is natural, and your personality stands out more than your appearance; then this cologne is right up your alley.

This is a beautiful-smelling cologne. It has its own unique notes and tones. I love Samba. It is a manly cologne. I will be ordering Samba again.

Like many reviewers mention already, it takes you back to school :)This was one of my "to go to" colognes in school, I got it as a gift from my aunt and when I saw this here on Amazon I just had to get it and take my chances that it would be what I remembered it to be.It has a lot of fruity and sweet notes to it which I normally don't enjoy myself since it can be to overwhelming, but mixed with cedar and musk it somehow turns in to a very masculine and great smelling scent which people around me appreciates.It doesn't last as long as I remember it to last, but I am not sure anything does these days, everything is produced to last shorter or to be smaller portions while prices go up just to make even more profits,great disappointment that quality and longevity is no longer a manufacturers concern.But with that said, I will still recommend this cologne, price is fairly decent compared to other brands and definitely as good smelling as some of the $100-$400 brands I have tried in the past.

First smelled this in 1990, then went to the gulf war and purchased a bottle, but it was spelled Zamba and way less concentrated. I had to get a bottle for the memories and the nice smell.

I think if you were familiar with the original before certain compounds were banned mid 2000s, you might be able to re-imagine it with the help of whatever this is. At least this is how I would explain the positive reviews.However if you pick this up as a new, affordable fragrance to try , you will definitely be disappointed.To me this is simply an extremely powdery and bitter version of a hygiene product fragrance of some sort.Hardly any projection and the dry-down is barely there. Even the cheapest bottle of Nautica would perform 3x better than this and would leave you with something better than a ".....hmmm. okay" every time you could smell it on yourself.Without trying to be rude this is a definitive hard pass from me even at 15 dollars.Try nautica, try lapidus, even cool water. Anything else is going to perform better and have some sort of character.
