BPE Inc. Pro Series Rep Clamp Right Helical

First off it's a decent nylon polymer not some crap plastic. Second clean it with acetone not a razor. That all being said I like this clamp better than the straight. Once you dial in your spacing on the machine it's perfect. The straight clamp seems to want to wiggle/move a bit more. The angle clamp stays true. I like doing angle fletching better on this machine than the bitz, but that's just my opinion.

I bought this due to it being recommended on a DVD I had with the instructor having used it. I have been in to archery for some time and have also been around a lot of archery equipment having been employed with at one of the largest archery stores and ranges on the East Coast. With my employment occurring after having purchased this product and the Jig itself (of course) I found them to feel rather cheap when I compared them to the Bitzenburger Jigs that you can purchase for not much more, if at all, if you look around. Bitzenburger would be my recommendations as they are solid, both the jigs and clamps, while the costs for these BPE clamps and the Jig I purchased don't compare. These are plastic whereas the Bitzenburgers are all steel. So in summary, these are by no means "bad" but in or near the price category they are you should opt for the Bitzenburgers as you will not likely need to make additional purchase for quite sometime and they will offer you a more solid and consistent experience - while anyone in Archery knows that consistency is key. Well worth getting an extra clamp to speed up the fletching.Put masking tape the edges of the clamp every 2-4 dozen. You won't regret it. Keeps the clamp clean and excess glue free.

The helical clamp does not fit on the older units very well so one has to mess around with it much more than the straight clamp.
