high quality Japanese blade
Almost no sparks cutting mild steel pipe and flat. After cutting a 2" steel pipe, a 1" galvanized steel pipe and 4 -2" X 1/8" flat steel at proper speed, no coolant, the blade was cool to the touch. Amazing. I'm using it in my Harbor freight 15" cutoff saw instead of the fiber cut-off wheels. It has a good speed clamp to keep work secure. So with this blade there is no discernible vibration and much less noise than a fiber wheel. Nice flat, straight cuts. much better than a fiber cut-off wheel for speed and accuracy. 1" arbor hole in blade, but comes with a washer to fit a smaller arbor. I didn't measure it since I didn't need it. Highly recommended over Diablo steel blades for lack of heat and keeping sharp and almost no sparks. Pay the small increase in price over Diablo. It is well worth it. You may incur a return shipping charge, but you won't be returning it for lack of quality.

SMOOTHER & FASTER CUTTING FOR STEEL
I purchased this Steel Cutting blade to replace the standard blade that came in my Evolution Rage 3 sliding compound cut saw. The standard blade worked OK but since this blade was designed for cutting metal I got it in the hopes of improved blade life. The Steel Cutting blade works much better on steel than the standard "combination" blade that comes with the saw. When cutting steel, the steel blade gives a cleaner and smoother cut than the standard blade. It also cuts steel faster and with less effort than the standard blade. If you bought an Evolution saw to cut metal with I highly recommend the Steel Cutting blade over using the standard blade.

Didn't last more than a few cuts on 1x1x1/8" mild steel angle
The first four cuts the blade did well going slow and steady. The next two started to take a little more time and pressure to finish the cuts. I had to flip the angle around to get the seventh and eighth cuts so I was just going through the leg only and not the corner. I will have to finish with a hack saw. The blade and motor didn't get warm at all but stopped cutting only essentially 1/8" material. I had high hopes after reading other reviews about this blade but those hopes were quickly dashed after only four cuts. Unfortunately, out of the return period now by one day.

No burn, no burr, No Problems
Five stars but nobody reads five star reviews. I use it to make clean, square, straight cuts on a chop saw. These are tubular steel Balusters. It performed magnificently. I cut 110 Tubular balusters and the last cut was as good as the first. No burn, no burr, No Problems. Just a good clean cut . Best Ferrous cutting blade for the price on Amazon.

Metal Cutting Blade
I was using an abrasive blade to cut galvanized conduit- dirty, smelly, lots of sparks. I decided to try this, but knew I had to get a mitre saw that runs at lower RPM's. I tried the Evolution Rage 3, but the quality wasn't there. Next I found a Mikita that runs at 3200 rpm. Not as slow as the Evolution, but according to the blade manufacturer it was slow enough. So far I have made about 200 cuts. It still goes through the conduit easily, but is starting to show signs of dulling i.e. striation marks on the sides of the cut. I can get this sharpened for about $13.00, so it is well worth it!

Quality Control?
This review is for the 10" steel cutting blade. I used this blade on the Evolution Rage 3 10" multi-purpose miter saw. This cuts steel at a slightly faster rate than the stock multi-material blade, and produces a better cut finish, not smooth by any means, so there is still some grinding/sanding left to do. The 3 star review is due to the blade losing 2 of it's carbide teeth right away after the 3rd cut on 1-1/8" diameter 1/8" wall thickness steel tubing. Both teeth were right next to each other, so it may be a quality control issue, a particularly hard weld on the tubing being cut, or simply a fluke. The blade is still square and true, and with the missing teeth I have not encountered any other problems with it while cutting other steel profiles.

Equal to slugger blades for less
1st off know your metal for angle iron, "T" iron most flat bars use band saw thats the way to go. If you use it for cutting tubing it should last for months. DO NOT "plunge cut" unless its really necessary. We cut lots of structural steel I beams and such, plates up to 1/2" no complains what so ever Only note: use low RPM Mitter or handheld saw such Metal Devil, Evolution, Slugger or similar. We evaluate the blade based on the task, job sites cut: I beams, 5/8 tubing and such if its last 1 day its a win! We saved lots of work hrs compared to any other cutting process and the final product looks more professional; time saver. Labor cost more. These blades has lots of different sizes we use this brand in 9" Slugger and we process min of 1 ton of flat bar/ blade. If your blade does not last that long you are doing something wrong perhaps cutting to fast, generating to much heat not keeping the tool 100% straight, tilting etc. Heat kills the blade. We cut 3/16 and 1/4 sheets 4x8 and 6x10, each cut is between 4-10 lft /cuts for over 3 months on a single blade, lots of tons of steel (modified Evolution Mitter Saw, we made a portable hand held sliding bridge saw out of it to cut up to 132" straight cuts)

Doesn’t last long
Worked great at first. After a short while of cutting thru 1/16 tubing it went dull and not will barely cut anything.

Cold saw blade
I have put this Evolution cold saw blade on a drop saw, with a variable speed controller. The evolution saw blade max speed is 3000 rpm. Cuts steel very smoothly with no sparks.
