Karafe Wine Tasting Game: The Fun Game to Learn About Wine

As a wine geek I love this game. I got this for my husband for Christmas and we ended up opening it early. I will warn you at first the rules seem complicated but once you play you will start to understand. The questions are good, some more difficult than others but unlike other games where it can get boring if you feel you know all the answers, this game requires you to strategize, which is the part I like best. When do you stop collecting money and buy land, when do you want to stop harvesting to bottle, when are you going to sell? It is this part of the game that keeps it interesting and makes you want to play over and over. The blind tastes can be as easy or difficult as you want depending on which wines you pick. But we have played it in the morning and ignored the wine tastes in favor of a question and still had a blast. The only thing I don’t like is the amount of resources. I feel like there is way too much money but not enough tons or grapes or bottles. With just two of us playing we go through almost all the tonnage if the bottle quantity was in cases instead I think it might make things a little easier. Overall, I highly recommend this game to anyone who claims to be a wine geek.

Got this game as a gift from a friend who just got back from Wine Country and knows my afinity for drinking games :) and it got its first use the last time I ever expected...with my family over Thanksgiving!!! We all had sooo much fun and even my parents joined in on the action being that it is an "educational drinking game!" It was amazing how little we actually knew about wine considering how much of it we consume. Great for everyone from your know it all friends (I guarentee they do not) to an added activity at the next wine tasting you host or attend. Very durable and easy to clean up which comes in handy when the wine starts flowing! Must buy for the holiday season!

This is the perfect game for a party or a small group of friends! It's a lot of fun, and everyone (regardless of their wine knowledge) has something to learn. In addition to testing everyone's knowledge with the trivia questions, you also get to do wine taste-testing which as the game goes on makes it a fun and hilarious experience for everyone. I highly recommend this game to people that want to learn more about wine and to those who enjoy fun drinking games.

This is a great game if you're looking for a fun way to learn more about wine. The questions (handicapped to allow diffrent level players) are very interesting and everyone who plays learns more about wine. I'm giving it to all my wine-loving friends for the holidays (of course, I get it wholesale because I invented it!).
