not happy! Called Cequal Products on Friday
So far, not happy! Called Cequal Products on Friday, two days after receiving the BedLounger, to discuss my displeasure. The description leads one to think that it reclines and the headrest rotates. NOT! The company rep said when you lean back, it supports your weight. Oh, so it's body activated. I was wondering what I was doing wrong. As for the headrest, the rep said you can bend it back and forth but it doesn't lock into place. In other words, it doesn't rotate. Really now! Her reassurance was, the plastic won't break no matter how often you bend it. Yeah right! I guess it's okay for watching T.V. but I bought it to help with my shoulder surgery scheduled for tomorrow. No lumbar support if you're depending on the little pillow that comes with it. I gave it one star because of the side pockets and the nice canvas cover. I feel I paid $139.00 for the cover. The lounger itself is cheaplymade. It feels like cardboard and stuffed with batting. I informed her that I would try it for a couple of weeks but I'm almost certain I won't keep it. BTW, if you order it from Amazon, the phone number (866-829-4527) in the brochure that is in the box is incorrect. THAT was another pisser because when I dialed that number, it was a survey for a "free cruise." Now I'm thinking, hells bells my number is added to how many telemarketers' lists? Just GREAT! The correct number is 310-458-1102. The rep said Verizon took their number and gave it to someone else; however, if you order from them, the brochure has the updated number. Anyway, I'm going to try it but if I have to call my neighbor to pack it up and send it back, I am not hesitating. There's more but this is enough for now.I'm back with more because today, I'm returning the BedLounger. Had the surgery and I think no better of the product than before. I was still getting up and removing it from the bed. I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and bought the Brookstone wedge pillow. I find it to be less restrictive, softer and more comfortable. I'm not saying it's perfect but for me, I find it to be much more comfortable than the BedLounger and I don't wake up with stiffness and soreness in my neck, shoulders, and back. However; as with the BedLounger, I still have to use and adjust pillows to get the comfort factor I desire but I'm not up every hour trying to adjust a non-rotatable and non reclining lounger.

Great Quality
Very good quality. It's sturdy and the fabric is nice. Now I'm 5'5" and although my head is at the head rest level if I'm fully upright in this I still need to use a additional pillow roll otherwise I'm looking at the ceiling - meaning to use the head rest as pictured the only way is for me to put my head all the way back then I'm looking at the ceiling. Yes, I can pull it forward somewhat but that doesn't make a difference. I had a roll pillow already and placing that behind my head against the headrest works nicely. The arms are a little short also. It's likely normal for these types of things. Being this is my first one ever I'm not sure what the norm is. It would be nice to have longer arms on this so I could rest my full arms on them but it's workable regardless. Why 4 stars after all this? Well, it is a great quality and as for the fit maybe that's just me being picky. I like it and have zero regrets getting it.

Great pillow just a bit overpriced, would be excellent for someone smaller
Decent pillow, personally not worth the high price tag unless you sit in bed with immaculate posture or are 5’6 or under. I’m 5’11 and around 190lbs, it’s a little on the small side for me but still comfortable. My only complaint is that one arm is nice and stiff and supportive and the other is well….limp and floppy tbh. The material is excellent quality and it’s super lightweight too, but it hasn’t retained its shape that well so unsure how long it will last.

It's Perfect for Me
Love it - FINALLY I don't need to stack 2 or 3 pillows behind my back so that back of my knees reach the edge of the sofa. My only disappointment is that I could not get the color I wanted. I bought the natural cotton which stands out against my darker sofa and I am afraid I will spill something on it and it will become visually soiled. The reason I bought it is for the support. I also like the fact that the arms are semi-solid though padded. So I can rest my arm on the lounge arm and it doesn't give. I removed the head support as it isn't needed. The pockets on both sides are very convenient. Have to add that my tiny 4 pound dog was upset that he couldn't climb into my lap because the arms are too tall for him. So I had to place a small cushion next to it so he step up and climb on and off at will. Now we're both happy.

Buy it :>]
I was diagnosed with MD is needed support for sitting and sleeping in bed. I was unable to lay flat in a bed and found it very difficult to safely get out of a bed. This helps ideal posturabilty settings and excellent support for the weight. I highly recommend this product over most any for the price and quality and performance. Other products appeared to not have nearly enough support to rely on transitioning in and out of bed or mobilization while in bed. The comfort was form enough you didn’t feel like you’d sink into it too much like others appeared to be.The versatility is the highest I’d expect for this product. BUY IT :>]

Adequate support, pricey for the features
This item is well constructed, with no discernible chemical smell. The arms are not exactly adjustable; they can simply be pushed apart somewhat, wider than the back of the pillow, but will return to their original position when released. I'd like to be able to adjust the headrest angle, but it only allows the height to be changed. The padding is adequate, and I like the removable lumbar pillow. I'm still trying to determine if this will work for the purpose I bought it for--trying to sleep in a more or less upright position--but the pillow would definitely work as a support for reading in bed, etc., although it's pricey for that use, and other cheaper, less structured items would probably do just as well if that's all that is wanted. Overall not bad, if rather expensive for the features.
