This works great
I have no real experience with this type of thing but I used it on a project and it works perfectly. My project has a 12V power supply and motor. The display is clear with no flicker. I'm not using it in it's case but the case fit the electronics snuggly. Wiring it up was relatively easy, obviously be very sure of your polarity when wiring up the power in as refreshing it will certainly kill them unit.

Very nice hobby quality speed controller.
I like the appearance of the unit &the large readout display. The power button switch is sort of flimsy but adequate. The display shows percent of power from 0 to 100. The reheostat is a better quality with a smooth feel.

Not bad for what it is
Haven't use this more than to test it and in that it did fine. I'm using to control motor speed and it works fine for that. The display seems to read 0 to 100% (vs input voltage) which is fine and makes total sense. My only gripe and seems that of others is the lens came quite scratched up. Like it's been rubbing on the packaging. Not a deal breaker but not what you want from a new produce. Just a little peal-able plastic cover would be all that's needed. I can't speak to longevity or the issue with the on/off button and mine worked fine. So with my limited experience I would buy again but would look for maybe one with a protected lens for shipping.

Display scratched
Item arrived with the display having micro scratches on it because it's in a sealed bag with loose hardware and connections. It's cheap, so I didn't expect perfection, but maybe consider covering the display with protective plastic before packaging and shipping.

Looks good.
Digital display was a nice surprise. Will use to control speed of a tiny gear motor that raises and lowers the hinged windshield on an old coupe (1937). The original pot metal gear box that was used to accomplish the task broke into several pieces, so I had to fabricate another out of aluminum, using the gear motor, instead of the original hand crank on the dash.

Hmmidk
Try wiring this thing is a disaster it all has to fit in the back of this thing and trying to get all those wires and then the back on there to keep it all up it's ridiculous it's just too much going on at once it could be simply and it better design but it's not I'd say look for something different if you need something reliable and that's not going to fall apart in the back and blow out

Absolutely disgusted.....this item was clearly damaged, returned, then sent out again. The chewed up broken pieces were included. Treating customers like fools....! Buyer beware.
