Lubegard 30916 Heavy Duty Engine Protectant, 32 fl. oz.

There are many oil additives out there that are nothing but "snake oil". However, this IS NOT the case with Lubegard Heavy Duty Engine Protectant. This stuff made my 1995 Dodge Dakota run better, reduced engine noise, improved fuel mileage... good stuff! I'm sold on Lubegard products! And believe me, I've tried them all !! I have no affiliation with this company, just a common person in need of true products!

My car has a noisy valvetrane. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just a fact of life with the very complex variable camshaft system Nissan used to squeeze every ounce of power out of this V6 without adding a turbo. Nissan makes their own "ester oil" that sticks to the valvetrane and helps reduce the noises these engines are known for, but at over $12/qt for a semi-synthetic, it's quite pricey. Instead, I use half a bottle of this and a jug of whichever full synthetic is on special at the store. Cuts the cost of my oil changes in half.

Always add this at every oil change. Could be overkill but with a Ram 5.7L Hemi engine issues can cost you $$$$$. Much cheaper to buy this and a good full synthetic oil and filter.

UPDATE January 2017: All stated benefits still being 100% accurate, I tried this in my lawnmower (Honda 165cc engine) and it notably quieted the engine. I mean, the wife commented on it. It is also much more difficult to stall now. Same gas. Same spark plug. I'm impressed. Smoke on cold start was also eliminated. This significantly and noticeably quieted the engine operation on my 2013 Ford Explorer 2.0 Turbo, 99 Impreza Outback Sport 2.2, and 2011 Outback 3.6R Limited. All three now have zero valve noise on cold start and idle in virtual silence....with minimal cooling fan activation. Engines seem to rev more freely and there has been a .5 MPG improvement on the Explorer, a .7 MPG improvement on the Outback, and a 1MPG improvement on the Outback Sport. I'm imminently pleased. And, this was added in the proper ratio to synthetic oil (Pennzoil Platinum, PP High Mileage, and Castrol Edge Titanium Gold Bottle)....so the effects are not being minimized. I will continue to update, but I'm extremely pleased. I did not expect such a large improvement on engine smoothness across these three vehicles.

Great way to safely improve on most engine oil. People say that motor oil has all the stuff that is needed but I can't believe it will survive the duration of a oil change interval OR they only put what a budget will allow. Some boutique oils cross the 10-20 per quart price because they put more anti wear additives in their oil. Use the lubegard biotech with confidence. I think it will serve the Grp 2 through 4 base oils the best. Follow the directions, call customer support if need be. They usually do a great job. The blue dye is helpful too. The dipsticks aren't good like back in the day so it will darken the oil up slightly to help get a better read on the fill. I paid an extremely fair price and am again happy. Quiets down engines, cleans rings, polorly attaches itself to metal and probably does some swelling of parts to slow consumption or leaking. Try it out!!!

I test it for two car ( Honda vamus and Toyota spade and also two motorcycle BMW R18 and R nine t. Those two bike will be overheat in traffic ( heavy traffic ) in summer in Japan but after I use it for bikes it doesn’t overheat anymore and the cars engine is also work very silent . I will use it every time I change the engine oil.

Became a fan of Lubegard transmission additive, only brand of additive I trust. I started using the engine oil protectant in all my vehicles. I cannot speak of added MPG or significant performance gains though I do notice smoother and quieter running engines. I also see less oil consumption in the vehicles treated with this additive. Wish the price was more budget friendly.
