Good for sweaty yoga, bleeds awfully in the wash
I have been a fan of the Manduka eQua towels for yoga, and this hand towel does not disappoint. It stays in place, is absorbant, and a good size for those classes when I don't need a full mat towel. I use it with my Manduka Pro Lite mat, and find it does not slip. I use the eQua towels with Manduka mats, and Yogitoes towels with "regular" mats (mats with a more "bumpy" texture). The only complaint I have about this towel is that the color bleeds terribly. I expected it for the first wash, but it continued to bleed for the next 5! I would definitely buy this towel again, but never in the red color (Sienna). My other eQua towels have been olive green and teal, and neither of them bled. Still a fan of the eQua, will just be more careful in my color choices next time.

Just ok
I thought this towel was going to be something special but it's just a microfiber towel with the Manduka logo. It's priced a little higher than what I'd value it at but nothing extravagant. Get it if you're into name brands or save three to five dollars and buy a generic towel.Pros -Area, larger than a typical hand towelThickness, easily stowableNeutral -Texture, it's soft but I feel like I'm going to wash my car when I pick it up.Con -Cost, costs 20 - 33% more than comparable towels.

Works great, essential for hot yoga
I take power yoga in a heated room and prior to purchasing this I just used a washcloth from home to wipe sweat off my face. This soaks up the sweat so much better. It is an odd feeling if your used to just a normal hand towel but it is really obsorbant and does not get overly wet during class. Highly recomend this hand towel as well as the skidless large towel to put over your mat if you are taking a hot yoga class.

Awesome! Much better than a hand towel!
I bought this towel along with the full size to put over my yoga mat. I use it to wipe my face during yoga. I loved it so much that I bought another to use whenever I do activities and sweat (dance and tennis). It absorbs the sweat really well and is much better than a hand towel. Sometimes I put it down in the car if I'm sweaty on my drive home. I think it absorbs better if you don't use fabric softener when you wash it....

Love These Towels!
I purchased this towel (along with the Manduka eQua standard towel) to use in hot yoga class. I use the standard towel more often just due to its size but this size is perfect to wipe my face off in class or a hot day at the pool. The towel is on the thinner side making it perfect to travel with but the material is very absorbent. Love these towels.

Nice little complement
I have the full sized Manduka black mat and the equa towel to go along with it. I just wanted a little towel to keep beside my mat during yoga practice to wipe up excess sweat and this fit the bill perfectly. It is compact, absorbent and looks great. A bit pricey for what it is, but I'm not left with a feeling that I've been ripped off or that it doesn't perform as well as you would expect it to.

Unnecessary
I agree with the other reviewer who said using this towel is like wiping your face with a piece of felt. It doesn't absorb as much as "smear" the sweat around. If you insist on getting a synthetic towel, my experience with the Kulae Yoga towel has been better--it's thicker, more absorbent, and feels more like a real cotton towel--and it's cheaper to boot. But you know what works even better for soaking up your workout sweat, and is even more economical than either of these towels? A regular old cotton hand towel. You don't need a high tech fabric for your towel--it's not like you're going to get a lot of evaporation from it during your actual workout. You want a towel that's both absorbent and comfortable, and for that, I haven't found any synthetic that beats good old cotton.

Great hand towel for hot yoga
I wanted an upgrade from just a dish towel during my hot yoga classes. I have read the reviews and was concerned with the texture, which does feel like suede almost. However, I find the towel is very absorbent and non abrasive when wiping your face down. I find the towel is also great for keeping my hands from slipping on the mat during poses. I fully recommend this towel and will keep using it for my classes!
