It does the job...
This is a great invention. However, despite the claim that you can put water in the bottom to hold the bottom down, it leaks. At least mine did. Mine won't even hold sand, even though it was supposed to do that too. The seams on the tubing at the bottom all ripped - not an occasional tear, but the entire thing popped open - and it seems inevitable because of the construction. I complained but never got around to returning it for a replacement. The seller told me it wasn't reasonable to expect it to hold water - even though the directions say it should - so I think you should expect a hassle if you want it to do that. And you absolutely should fill it up outside the first time if you try to fill it with water. I couldn't do this and it was a mess. Without water, I don't have any problem with it blowing around - but it doesn't look very gazebo-y. It does keep the mosquitoes out though and that was the reason I bought it. It also has handled several storms quite well.

Meh, I suppose
Meh, is the best description. It does work, and it's about 200 times cheaper than actually building a screen room. But the water tube is useless - it leaked from day one. On day 14 I went to refill it, and instead of the cap coming undone, the whole cap assembly ripped out. Now I have a spring clamp holding the plastic closed. The screen will not hold black flies out, so I sprayed it with Permethrin - that seemed to do the trick. It's also awkward to take down, but if you leave it up with the umbrella down, it still blows over in the storms. My solution to this - see customer pictures above, is to take an old parasol and remove the material, string rope between the splines, and put the net over that actually pretty nice as you can see the sky now.Still, if I can get a season out of it sitting outside when it's still over 70, I guess the price I paid is pretty good value.

Still bitten by the bugs, Argghhh!
Only wanting a temporay "fix" to keep the bugs off of us when my wife and I sit outside on our patio,I purchased this item after reading the reviews. After opening the package and realizing that the "bladder" was only flimsy plastic, I took all precautions in setting up the net. I spread the bladder out carefully not to pinch it on anything. While following the "Caution" sticker's statement quite carefully (Do not overfill, may cause failure and leaks), as there are no other instructions to follow, I slowly filled the bladder with water letting it trickle in. And you know what? There were two leaks in it before it was 3/4 filled! I didn't even get a chance to sit outside for five minutes. I'm frustrated by poor quality items and I've requested a return with a full refund.

Keep those mosquitos out.
This is the third umbrella netting that I have owned. I live in southern Florida and because of the sunlight and the high humidity, the netting tends to only last about 1-2 seasons and then the netting starts rotting and getting holes in it, but the price is so inexpensive to be able to sit outside without getting eaten up by mosquitoes that it is really a BARGAIN in order to be able to sit outside in comfort for one to two years. This particular product has AMPLE material, and then some, to drape over my 9 foot umbrella, and this is with the adjustable tie string on its tightest. I had to return another similar product sold on Amazon because the netting was too small even though advertised to fit a 9 foot umbrella. Yes, the plastic tubing on the bottom will develop leaks so I have learned not to even bother putting water in. I merely bought some bricks at Home Depot and put about 10 of them on the plastic on the bottom not only to keep the bugs out but also so that it will keep the netting from blowing around when it is windy (and possibly hitting the edge of the furniture which could cause tears in the netting.) I can fit two full sized chaise lounges under this netting under my 9 foot open umbrella. For really high winds, eg 25 mph, I put the umbrella down (with the netting still on). I am 100% satisfied with this particular company's product.

Not as described by pictures
I ordered this product for my 9 foot umbrella and it hangs 2 feet off the ground. I put it on my 7 foot umbrella and it barely reaches with the draw string barely on the umbrella edge and the water in place to pull the net tight. The box says for a 9' umbrella...... I purchased this item based on other reviews stating that the umbrella was super long.

Umbrella Gazebo
So far this item has been wonderful. It is a 2 person project to put up but works very well when the umbrella is up and the netting is used. Used it at a party for the food and for the more 'bug' sensitive guests. Will replace when this one wears out.

Umbrella Gazebo
Umbrella GazeboI ordered this gazebo umbrella netting and we are totally pleased with the product. Setup was simple and the bottom lining once filled with water keeps the netting in whatever shape you desire.A very simple and inexpensive way to enjoy the outdoors without the aggravation of inscets and bites. Oh did I say that it looks really nice once it's installed.
