Hurst 1745000 Roll/Control Valve

I have had one of these on my summer cruiser for years and they work and hold up fantastic. I only trust a brand like Hurst with anything to do with my braking system. With all the generic versions of this same valve I strongly suggest this Hurst. This will lock your fronts with ease allowing excellent smokey burn outs!!

I only use name brand parts in a brake systemHave used these before with no issues for many years, so of course I ordered this again when I got another car. You will need adapters from the pipe thread to the brake flare, they can be founf here also and be prepared to make a new brake line or two to get this installed in a good location. Wiring is stupid simple, and once plumbed inline, just blled your brakes as normal. Hoping it is the same quality of my other two that have lasted more than 20+ years in service. Looking at this one versus the old ones, I see no difference. Highly recommend

I know this is a top quality product, I’ve used it in my race cars for decades.Update; I guess they don’t make them like they used to. Not this one but we replaced one after 30 years and the replacement only lasted 5years. Sheesh

Leaks like crazy from the npt fitting area. Tried pipe dope leaked, tried Teflon tape leaked, tried dope and tape and still leaked

100% pure awesome. I have always been a fan of Hurst stuff and am super duper happy with this. Easy to install and works great. Awesome price point for what you get.

As exspected.

Works as described. However The ports on the roll control are not setup for flare brake lines so you will have to either buy the install kit of get your own fittings that fit both your lines and the roll control itself.
