PERSIANO - Poker, Large

This is the second time I am buying these cards. We play A LOT of cards at our house. Normal paper cards that are coated do not last nearly as long as these do. The numbers are very easy to read, even for my dad who has dry macular degeneration. They feel a little different and almost "too new" when you first play with them but you easily get used to it. They shuffle very nicely and don't stick to one another. Last a very long time. They do eventually wear out but I would say last about 2x as long as typical cards. Comes with a very nice plastic, 2-deck holding case. I'd recommend getting one of these and when one deck wears out, use the other one and order a single deck, which does not come with a nice case, to replace the one you wore out. I have tried a lot of different varieties of cards and did my research before buying these. I can't imagine buying another deck of cards anymore!

What I love about these cards: the design, the ease of shuffling, the readability of the cards even from a good distance. In fact, they're much easier to read than my Faded Spade cards (the inward curve of the spade makes them look too much like the diamonds, and the FS four-color deck looks pretty when close-up, but the colors don't 'pop' enough to distinguish them easily). The only thing I could complain about is the mild mushroomy scent of the cards. I'm not sure that's exactly what they smell like -- maybe it's a very mild moldy smell -- but it's not terribly unpleasant. It's just there, and it's different from any other cards' scent. I've only played with them a bit; maybe the scent softens over time, and anyway, it's not a hindrance. I'll definitely use them in my regular poker games.

Quality cards. A must have when playing Poker.

Must have for game or poker night. These cards are perfection. Glossy, firm and durable. Great feel in the hand. Just buy them and don't waste time on anything else.

I use these cards in bowling league. The only type of cards that have held up in league are 100 percent plastic. I am very picky when it comes to cards. I can't stand cards that stick, that are faded, that are folded, etc. Again, during league the only cards that I'm able to be satisfied with are the 100 percent plastic. I really like the feel and look of these cards. I also like the variety of backs to these cards. The only thing I wished, is the fiddle backed cards came in the Poker sized pips. This isn't a big deal and I wouldn't ever downgrade the cards for this. Complaint about Amazon...they didn't send me a cover to the cards. Kept the cards because I have homemade plastic boxes made from a three D printer.

A primary reason I bought this was because it came in a nice presentation box and would make a nice gift. It doesn't come with a cover and looks cheap and crappy. The cards themselves are fine, but nothing special.

My family and I play cards almost every night. We always used to use regular cheap paper cards and would go through a deck every month or two. As such, I thought it would be worth it to get some decent quality plastic cards. I was right! These cards feel very nice in the hand and are easy to deal and shuffle. The text is bright, large and easy to read for my aging mother even without her glasses! Seems like they will stand the test of time much better than their paper counterparts. I was also looking at KEM, Copag and Bicycle cards but they were much more expensive and reviews seemed kind of sketchy in terms of quality. (Maybe has gone downhill in recent years?) Anyway, I’m happy I chose DaVinci and will likely return in the future!

The deck that had me fall in love with Da Vince cards. The red and green backs on these really pop. Beautiful design.

Surprised my father that loves playing cards, by getting him this pack especially cause my father’s family is Italian . My dad was very impressed with the quality and refuses to use them because they are too pretty!!
