Toyota Genuine Oil Seal for Differential Side Gear Shaft

Replaced the inner rear axel seal on my 99 Landcruiser and stopped the leak immediately. So far so good.

It's a seal, what's there to say. Happy it no longer leaks.Check the install - there is no ridge and you have to measure the install depth manually.

I saw a review that said this fit his drivers side perfect in his 2008 taco, so I bought it. Went to install and it’s way too big. Really disappointed that my truck is just sitting disassembled until I can find the right one.4 stars cause it’s probably right for the passenger side and they technically didn’t say it was for the drivers side, but they didn’t say it’s for passenger side either.

This is the passenger side dif seal. The right part for my 2002 TRD despite what Amazon says. FYI, the Driver side is a different part. Also, check the manual re seal depth. Should be 5.5mm. Don't be dumb and put it in too far otherwise you will be ordering another and doing it again. Ask me how I know.PPS. It is a tight fit but you can do this seal with the CV still in the wheel and the tie rod still connected. Just need to pop the LBJ.
