Effects Pedal Kit - MOD Kits, The Tea Philter, T Filter

this is a very cool effect ! These DYI kits are the real deal and can be modified some what but they all sound very good ! I have a few and have never been disappointed !

I will write a more thorough review once I have finished the build. it has a small component list and is hand-wired so I believe it is a recipe for success

MOD, in my opinion and experience do not make quality products.this is my second and last MOD build. This item does not do what it claims to do.if you move the knob while you play (and not sure how you would do that) you'll get the wah effect, otherwise its a pretty lame filter that did next to nothing on any of the 5 guitars i tried it with.customer service seems to be limited to replacing the product and having to do so multiple times to get it correct, so i cannot in good conscience recommend this item. they get two stars because the metal housing was good quality, the parts were acceptable and the directions were included. the circuit design, not so much. If you risk it, i hope your mileage varies from mine

This kit is great. Easy to build, good instructions, and it sounds better then most of the store bought ones.

Fun build. Very subtle effect. Cool platform for modding. Came with a crapped out transistor. Luckily I had a few laying around and experimented with them. 3 stars for the kit 2 stars for the support (they did not offer to send another transistor).

Not what I really expected I already own a wah pedal which kinda blows this out of the water, I thought it was an auto wah upon purchasing, the effect is just a wah pedal that stays still so it really just cuts your tone Up a bit, good w some distortion but I also find it a bit noisey. Good diagrams nice project but pedal is boring imo
