Can this be used for gerbils? Is it dust or sand? Looking for non dusty sand for gerbils.

This is a very fine dust so if you're looking for something 'non dusty' you definitely DO NOT want this. Is it mined from the blue cloud mine in southern california? or is it from mexico?

Although Amazon has not updated image, this is Blue Beauty dust and is mined in Kansas. Blue Cloud mine closed a number of years ago.

Why is there glitter in this dust that will eventually lead to a sick or dead pet???

Mine does not have glitter in it. However, the dust does sort of sparkle.
