Great quality. Took stain very well and fits perfectly. I will say that if anchored as directions state, it will not sit flush into receiver due to concrete nail/screw heads.

This is real oak wood that needs to be finished before installation. It is very tough and provides a strong transition between laminate and carpet. All the hardware stores only sell eight foot products, which means you will have lots of leftover if doing just one small area. I attached my trimmed 34 inch piece with a countersunk screw on each end, which holds it very securely in place. Stain the transition to match your floor and finish with several coats of satin urethane for good results.

Product was as described, but I ordered 2 and they were shipped in two extremely large boxes when you could have shipped probably 20 in one box. Waste of resources.

It appears to be a nice product, but I have normal thickness tile and normal thickness laminate and it does not come close to fitting, so don't know what application it is supposed to be used for. It would be nice if they would post thickness dimensions.

I have use three of these to transition from carpeting to my newly child bathrooms. Takes stain and ceiling very well. Nice durable oak product very good quality.

We finished hardware floor install without replacing the adjacent tiling flooring. This product's design meets our need as the tile and the wood floor are quite bit height difference. Ordered one to test, although one side (about a third way from the end) of the strip had damage, the length was good after cutting the damage, and the height profile was perfect. We then order another six of them to finish the whole house. All but one have various degrees of defect, two severely wrapped, three had deep chisel or filing marks covering at least half of the length, one had a rotten part on the verge of splitting. Since we planned the installation this weekend and we have no time to return. Have been sanding in the last three hours and we ended up with three usable ones. The other three could not be repaired even with lots of sanding and clamping. We are very disappointed and the work will leave a few doors without transition strips.

Love it. Wood was straight. Did have to sand a bit but expected. Quality product. Worth the money. Packaging was ok. Could've been better but got lucky. No dings or cracks

It is solid, real wood. Needs to be stained to match floor. The only thing I did not like was that the track is plastic. But, seems to work just fine.
