Good Part / Came with Bad Bleeder Nipple.
It fit perfectly, came with the proper rings that also fit perfectly. It looked to be about the same build quality as the OEM part. However the one very important issue was that it came with a well used and stripped air release nipple. (The nipple on the very top of the unit.) Had I thrown away, or lost the original part, or had my OEM part been stripped itself, (Very possible, the vehicle was purchased used.), I would have been out of luck and stuck, presumably by how ever long a replacement would have taken to get to me. Hence the 3 stars. Fortunately the original nipple was intact and swapping the two solved the issue. So if you buy one of these, be sure to check the condition of yours and be warned that your replacement could also come with a bad nipple. (Dorman needs to check better before packaging these things.) Other than that, It worked well and came before the scheduled arrival date. A note, don't forget to purge the air out of that nipple once everything is re-installed, extremely important. See various videos on youtube , or other various video websites for more info.

DO NOT BUY-IT'S A PIECE OF CRAP.
Although it was a direct fit. It is such a poorly made product. Bleeder valve is put on too tight, I thought I broke the the part try to loosen it. The temperature sensor threw an error code, and my engine had no previous code. I tried to remove the "new" sensor, and replace with the old one; which I knew worked properly. But, the whole unit turns, so removing is not an option. Now, I have to order a DIFFERENT unit, that will actually work, and then send the defective one back for a refund. Now, I am going to be without my car, while waiting for the replacement. Thanks AMAZON!!!

Fits engine but sensor has issues and started to weep at the seam.
This coolant adapter fits on my 2003 Sebring Convertible, but the temperature sensor is not an exact match. The electrical socket has an extra lug and makes it difficult to install and almost impossible to remove, but it does work. The sensor shows a lower temperature on my gauge than both the original Mopar unit and a replacement from the local parts store. I haven't determined whether this causes my engine to run at an incorrect temperature, but it seems okay. If I have to replace it, again, I will go with Mopar.<< Update after one year >> This was running my engine too hot. It was also showing a slow leak at the seam. I decided to replace it with a Mopar - much more expensive but it is not worth risking the engine for a cheap part.

A faithful reproduction of a flawed part
First of the Dorman part is a direct fitting exact match for the OEM coolant air bleeder. The bad news...the OEM part is trash.I've had my car for 7 years and have replaced 3 of these things. The OEM part literally exploded at the seam between the top and bottom pieces with a huge bang and the small tube on the top was cracked for sometime before that even happened. My first Dorman replacement failed at the metal inlay that holds the temp sensor. My second Dorman failed at the inlay that holds the bleed nipple.I'm now about to go in and do this repair for a fourth time since my current coolant air bleeder has developed a leak around the temp sensor.Thankfully this is an easy repair, but you'd think by now someone would have revised the part. For all those worried about removing the intake manifold during the repair, don't be. It's no easier, and more trouble not to remove it. The gaskets underneath are reusable, and seated in the manifold. Just pull that manifold off and don't risk ruining the gaskets by grinding them against the lower intake. Will my next one be a Dorman? Yup. 'Cause it's not really their fault the part was poorly designed, and I haven't had one explode at the seam like the OEM part.

Lasted 5 Years! Caused Major Over Heating Problems When It Failed!
This product lasted 5 years! It developed a small pinhole leak that allowed air to get sucked into the cooling system, causing both a lack of heat in the winter and major over heating problems in the summer. The included temperature gauge sending unit is not compatible with a 2001 Chrysler Sebring LXi 2.7 motor. It immediately sets off the check engine light. Replacing this device is an annoying and time consuming job. Hope the Standard Motors replacement part I purchased lasts longer than this one did.

Not that difficult to replace.
I purchased this for a 2005 Chrysler Sebring 2.7 V6. It was a perfect fit and seems to be working just fine.Installation tip: I did not have to loosen the intake manifold to replace this. I used the 8mm flex head ratcheting wrench from this set: GearWrench 9901 12 Piece Metric Flex-Head Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set for the hardest bolt to reach and a 1/4" universal joint and extension with an 8mm socket for the other hard to reach bolt. Start to finish including bleeding the system was less than 90 minutes.

So far so good...2002 Dodge Stratus 2.7L
UPDATE:. It broke after 3 years and maybe 24k miles. Lost all coolant and now having to replace it. Hopefully the engine block didn't crack.Everything seems to be a good match for the original, EXCEPT, the electrical connection has a slightly different groove pattern than the wire harness connector. With a little patience and precise approach, and the electrical connector fit very snugly.

Acceptable quality, great price and quality when compared to OEM.
Connector for the thermostat was not correctly aligned, it was had to crop some edges of the connector so that it would fit. Otherwise, feels like good quality, its heavy, brass parts. Second one I'm buying, the first one seemed to use other cheaper metal, this replaces a part on where one of the plugs for the hosings had cracked.Very good price, at this time (apr, 2016) the OEM price is about 90USD and the last one of these actually lasted a longer that the OEM unit (~75K Kms until it cracked when plugging a hose)

Fits Great. Just like original part.
Perfect fit. My husband adapted a strap to hold one side which is a OEM defect. Product arrived on time and is accurate part.
