Eight years after a cataclysm and disease ravaged the human race - leaving just one in every ten surviving -, all social structures have crumbled like sand castles. Too few still live for anything to have been reconstructed.

Ivan's parting shot
Even for Ivan Noel, this is a severely dystopian film which one views not for entertainment but for enlightenment and to speculate with awe how he gets such performances from rag-tag local kids. In some of his emails to me over recent years he made clear his rage at many aspects of modern society so I was not surprised when he opted for suicide. This movie has less childhood nudity than most of his films (in none is the nudity inappropriate) so, "peepers" don't bother. Also, know that this movie is far, far removed from casual entertainment as it moves through boring segments (unless one likes excellent cinematography and lengthy segments on kids dealing with starvation/privation at the dark ends of civilization).Long live Ivan through his films. I gather there are plans to continue in his physical absence but he will always be present on set and in the hearts of many who got to know a little of him.

Superb assessment of the true human nature when the grid collapses.!
Another awesome film by Ivan Noel. Right on target as usual. His movies are highly controversial, but socially accurate. He tells in his films the truth nobody wants to speak or hear. For those who like polemical movies, this is it! I also recommend watching 'Rejected and the Tutor'.If anybody thinks humans have progressed to anything more than being a destructive, selfish and cruel animal, he doesn't know history or is a fool. How can we talk about 'human progress' if this progress depends entirely on the stability of the grid??. Take away a man's food or supply chain and after missing nine meals you get a 'ruthless hominid' capable of destroying anything and anyone.Spoiler. This is not a non-stop action movie. It's not amusing entertainment, it's a slow pased drama. It's a film for critical thinking and openminded analysis. And a very good one, indeed!

Creative but sloppy
This is a big themed movie with a low budget----too low. It's interesting and a decent attempt, but it just hasn't the tools to truly engage the viewer.

odd I would give it 2 & 1/2 stars if that was a option.
Maybe I didn't get it I thought this was okay at best. Still had it moments though.

INQUIETANTE

Perfect and amazing
This lovely film is a bout kids survival trying to eat and drink and keep clean but there is sad bits and good bits there is also kids being kids a little nude but it didn't bother me as we we're all kids before we all human it was a great film Shame the kids have to live like this left to there out devices and not having anyone to help them but that's if they kill you or eat you that's not good but they have no home nothing even eating worms or something like that what a life for them but it was a true film what life is like it can be so crule this is a film for everyone

Postapokalyptische Philosophiestunde
