M2 - 2-Channel Scratch DJ Mixer, Rack Mountable with 3-Band EQ, Microphone Input and Replaceable Crossfader with Reverse and Slope Controls

I seriously bought this mixer to replace some off brand garbage i bought from Radio Shack in the 90s. Numark is an institution in the DJ/Home Stereo Market. And I dont use it for turntables or anything like that. I use it for my home entertainment system which includes Xbox, Wide Screen TV, PSP for MP3 playing, my iPad for Podcasts and more. When output to my Philips Quadraphonic Home Stereo amp and vintage speaker cabs with 12 inch woofers the EQs on this Numark Mixer can really tweak the levels to boost massive bass frequencies and playing with the mids and highs really feels like you are in control of the mixdown of any tracks you pump through it, as well as bringing the voices, score, and sound effects to all new live when watching films. I can't tell you that other reputable DJ brands are better or worse, but I can tell you this: DO NOT waste your money on cheap stereo gear from some name you have never heard of and that hasnt been around for ages. You can't possibly go wrong with Numark mixers. And my personal experience with this one has me wanting to stick with the brand for life.

I bought it as an upgrade to a low cost mixer that fullfilled my needs with the exception of the audio quality and some distortion too. I use it with a DB technologies 503 and linking two tablets to play music and act as a DJ for birthsdays keeping the process reachable for anyone who wants to play with it during the party. Overall sound quality is excelent with no distortion and very good volume. The upgrade in sound quality is notorious. Foe me the easy to 7se /connections was similar to the old one so no issues and I really like how you can play with Cue controls that provided an upgrade for me. Excellent overall so far!!!!!

I bought this mixer even though I contacted Numark by message and phone and never did get my question answered. It works great, the bass control is at about the right frequency that I wanted. That was the question I had for them because some mixers adjust at too low and some too high. I am guessing it is around 80HZ. The sliders for channel 1 & 2 and the cross fade seem to move too easily. Feels kind of cheap too. Not a big issue for me since I will only use one of them 90% of the time. The only other thing I thought was odd is that you need to use an unbalanced mic cable with this. I assumed all new mixers would need a balanced cable. So I had to order another cable after I got this. Those issues aside, this is a really nice mixer for the price and I don't regret buying it. So I would probably give it a 4.5 rating but a 1 for Numark's customer service for not being able to answer my question or finding out and getting back to me about it.

I bought this as an inexpensive way to mix between my 2-channel Serato controller and my LP120X turntable because I am new to vinyl and wanted to see if I liked it before investing in a 4-channel controller. This does the job and has all of the correct inputs and outputs to make it work. The mixer is sturdy being all metal, and the knobs and sliders feel pretty good. What I really don't like is that the knobs and sliders are very touchy with huge dead zones. On the EQ, the first 75ish degrees in either direction does almost all of the EQing, and then there seems to be a massive dead zone until the very end when it finally cuts those frequencies altogether. Because of this, the EQ is very touchy and sensitive, and it's difficult to bring in or take away frequencies in a smooth way without it sounding harsh and sudden. This is also extremely noticeable with the cue knob and slider. You can easily listen to one channel or the other in your headphones, but trying to get the right mix of both is extremely difficult because of how small the actual range of the slider is. You have to be very precise. I don't really like the toggle switches to switch between line and phono. They are pretty tall and it's easy to hit one accidentally. I've gotten used to it, but it would have been nice if they had used a shorter switch or maybe placed it on the back. This is not a precision mixer. If you just want something cheap to start out with to see if you like DJing, or if you're in a pinch and just need to mix two sources together, this is fine. For an intermediate user or for professional use, I would not recommend this - spend some more money and get a better quality mixer, or a controller with 4 channels.

J'ai acheté cette table de mixage pour remplacer mon ancienne qui ne fonctionnait plus. Je cherchait quelle qu'elle que chose avec lequel j'en aurait pour mon argent, et franchement j'ai été surpris. La table de mixage est de très bonne qualité, avec des matériaux de fabrication de qualité. seul bémol c'est que il n'y a pas de bouton pré-écoute, c'est un bouton coulissant qui pour moi n'est pas pratique. A par cela la table de mixage reste excellente pour ce qui n'on pas envie de mettre une grosse somme ou ce qui ne peuvent pas mettre plus. Je recommande ! Envoie rapide et dans les temps !

Principiantes del scratch no busqueis mas,este es el mixer ideal,cumple perfectamente con su cometido,buena amplificacion en todos los canales ,en la preescucha y micro,knobs de buena calidad y un fader mas que suficiente para hacer buenos cortes

War auf der Suche nach einem einfachen und gutem zwei Kanal Mixer. Nach langem überlegen entschied ich mich für den Numark M2. Diese Entscheidung war genau die richtige. Wofür benutze ich den Numark M2 ? Den Numark M2 verwende ich für meine zwei Plattenspieler einmal einen Pioneer PLX-500 und einem Reloop RP 7000. Ich habe zwei aktiv Lautsprecher die ich mit dem Chinch Master Ausgang vom Mixer verbunden habe. Das funktioniert einwandfrei. Das Vorhören also die Cue Funktion funktioniert sehr gut, um die richtig zu nutzen müsst ihr auf der rechten Seite unter der roten Power LED den Cue Schalter vom Master auf Mode schalten. Der Mixer sollte für mich einfach sein ohne zu viele Regler und Funktionen die ich nicht brauche. Für jeden der einen guten einfachen Mixer sucht um seine Vinyls zu mixen reicht der Numark M2 völlig aus.
