Sonance 92983 SONARRAY SR1 Outdoor Speaker System

What a great system, the setup was easy and the sound is amazing I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a streaming music system for your landscape area.

Overall this is more clever marketing/packaging than anything. After owning this for a few months we realized1- We could’ve created the same system just pairing together outdoor speakers in the ground with an amp from any audio shop or Best Buy. This is just creative packaging and marketing.2- The quality of the sound is not “breathtaking” or any version thereof. It is mediocre to poor at best. The speakers put our marginal quality treble and horrific bass.3- The subwoofer is a joke, particularly since it’s literally a giant mushroom and they give you this technical breakdown in the photo that makes it look like they have some revolutionary design that makes for some wild crazy amazing sound. It is not and it does not. It is a hollow base sound that does not translate more than 1-3 feet away and creates a pop, not a true rich deep bass.4- The other reviewers here have to be either clueless when it comes to audio quality, or it’s just the company itself leaving fake reviews

Although the other 7 satalite speakers and the sub are working well I don't think it is acceptable for speaker to be dead in a system as expensive as this one. I'm in contact with the Amazon seller as well as the manufacture so depending on how the process of replacing the speaker goes I will update this review accordingly.EDIT: The seller was quick to contact me back within 12 hours and was working on getting something figured out with his distributor, the manufacturer also got back to me shortly after the seller and was very responsive. The day I installed the system and noticed the dead speaker I immediately swapped it with another one to verify the speaker was in fact dead. Today I decided to pull the speaker from the kit and test it with a 9 volt battery, I'm not sure what that did but upon installing it back on the system it seems to be working fine. I'll update this review again after I get some use out of it and verify there isn't still an issue with the speaker.

The speakers were installed approximately two years ago around our pool. Initially they looked and sounded phenomenal, however after two years, the product has not held up well. The speaker grills are corroded, and the case of the speakers also appears to be very faded. Would not expect this for a product that should cost $2500. If you don’t mind replacing the speakers after two or three years, go ahead and purchase them, otherwise if you want something durable, look elsewhere.————-I modified my review. I contacted the company directly. They sent me 6 new speakers. They do have a 2 yr warranty. I was just within that time frame. I will likely be installing them in a different location to protect them from Weed whacker and sun. Still though... a product this expensive shouldn’t look this badly after just barely 2 yrs. The sound is pretty good, although somewhat low.

Fantastic sound. Easy to install. Recommend Sonos amp to drive it; app is very intuitive.

Absolutely love these speakers in our backyard oasis. Such a great addition.

We have enjoyed our speakers very much when they work properly. Unfortunately we are in the process of getting our second amp replaced within the first 3 months. It is a great investment and we shouldn't be inconvenienced again. I except compensation or the review of 3 stars will be dropped after having mainly 5 star moments. The amp and system should be bullet proof not BS.
