As the Private group opens a branch in Australia, they are immediately involved in three different cases. One is about an Oriental gang whose members kidnap and sometimes murder their victims. The next is the complicated task of finding a heartless serial killer who targets women of the upper class, and the third is to find out if a very famous singer is being targeted to die at the hands of his manager. This novel is full of suspense and action as all of this author's are....and you won't be disappointed! Review: A Somewhat Disjointed but Satisfying Thriller - For those of you Patterson readers who are familiar with his many thrillers with co-authors, this is a good story in the Private series. It introduces new characters. Naturally, the women are stunningly attractive, slender and independently wealthy. The men are tall, handsome, lean and charming...and of course, wealthy as well. Even the IT nerds are charming and cute. The story revolves around a serial killer of wealthy socialites in OZ, who have been left lonely by their successful husbands. Did the husband(s) or lover(s) or someone else kill them? The tale becomes somewhat disjointed and evolves into another story. The reader then must figure out that the two stories are connected. Sloppy editing. Overall, a satisfying read for those who have come to expect less from Patterson since his early solo works with the Alex Cross series and other well written thrillers done solely by Patterson.

Enjoyable addition to this series
Light and enjoyable read. I have read the series and this latest addition was much the same. A fun story with light characters and a little plot to solve. Nothing deep, nothing that will stick with me but I read for entertainment and this sufficed. I will continue to buy these books

Great writer. Thank you
Over the past 4 years I have collected over 98 of Patterson books and read them. I shared them with people I work with and just this past two months dropped off 87 of the books at the local library which they were thrilled to get. His books are the one read that helps me to keep my butt in a chair for long periods of time. Received a tablet for Xmas from my son so now I can order and have him with me always. Great writer. Thank you.

Private Oz
I chose Private OZ as I have enjoyed books by James. Previously I had found Private Berlin to be most engaging so a logical progression was to take up P-Oz. An additional incentive was the fact that it was based in Australia (my country) and it was great that James has taken to time to move Private around the world. P-Oz was true to form, had a variety of sub-plots, interesting characters, twists and turns. Kept me involved and interested from start to finish. Recommend it to all, especially Aussies.

Private Series
I read a few of the Private Series books randomly, the characters are easily addictive. Now, I'm reading the series in order, James Patterson is my absolute favorite story teller. He has a way of drawing you in, making it difficult to put the book down! With this series being set in different countries, yet having some main characters cross over makes it even better.

Private Down Under
James Patterson has done it again. With Michael White also. This was a great read. Plenty of twists and turns that we have come to expect and love. The plot was fast paced and there were a few edge of your seat moments. This book had my attention from the first page until the last. The characters are well developed also. If you are looking for a great mystery with lots of action, this is the book for you. I highly recommend this book to others.

Another Great "Private" Series book by James Patterson and Michael White
Like the other "Private" series books, this story keeps you on the edge of your seat and will keep you up at night as you say, "Just one more chapter," knowing that James Patterson is famous for his short chapters. So, 10 chapters later you might go to bed, but you get up early to read a few more chapters, causing you to be late for work. There's no sense telling you anything about the story because you should already know it's GREAT! Enjoy!
