Nature's Mace customer support is outstanding!
This review is about Nature's mace customer support. They are excellent! Outstanding! I order the 'mace' and it didn't arrive. When I checked on amazon it said my package 'might be lost'. I asked them to resend another one and they said I had to contact Nature's Mace.Lacie responded to me and she was kind, efficient and resent me the order and it arrived quickly. I highly recommend them.Thank you, Lacie.

Does not work for me.
I am sorry to report that this spray DOES NOT WORK -- at least on "my" squirrels. I live in NC, so the culprits are common gray squirrels with fuzzy tails. I have followed directions: after shaing the bottle well, I sprayed the feeders, the sunflower seed itself, the pole -- even on the gound below. The litle buggers hang upside down to eat the seed in the tray part of the feeder! I see that there are good reviews fo this product, and I am glad that it works for many of you.

Squirrel Deterrent!
Like how it's made with 'natural ingredients' to deter squirrels from coming on my deck. You will have to re-administer it after the rain, but it seems to serve its purpose. Love that it's not harmful to the animal. Long spray reach is helpful to spraying in the 'huge tree' next to my deck. Does not harm the tree or neighboring plants...

Works, but...
BE VERY CAREFUL USING THIS.It stinks to high heaven and, at least for my squirrels, really works.BUT...AND THIS IS A BIG CAUTIONARY BUT:The spray mechanism allows massive leaking. Not only does the pistol part leak while you're using it, the cap isn't secure/tight on the bottle opening despite tightening it to the max. I realized this only when I noticed the drip going down to my pants legs and garden clogs (I was continuing to use it, figuring that I could just wash off the minor leakage from the pistol mechanism). What seems like a totally good idea...that the stuff doesn't wash off in the rain...actually also means that you can't wash it out of denim or whatever garden clogs are made from. And when you wash the affected areas of the denim, any water that gets on the rest of the garment will stink up the rest of the garment. I've tried several detergents and Dove dishwashing liquid...and I will still stink, probably forever, when I wear the pants. The shoes aren't that much of an issue because they just stay in the garage anyhow and seem to not have absorbed as much as the denim.Right now, the pants are hanging on an accordian clothes dryer out on my deck. I'm going to be afraid to put them in the dryer. I might just throw them out.Meanwhile, I put the regular cap back on the bottle and will use the stuff with disposable gloves and a disposable rag.UPDATE: Neither Borax nor Odorzout touched the smell. Pants are now in a trash bag, waiting outdoors until my garbage pickup.

Disappointing
Makes no difference in keeping deer or raccoons away from the feeders. I suspect one would need to move the feeders to a different location as their behavior has already learned the location. Trying to use for keeping deer out of hostas. We'll see.

Poor sprayer
First time using, sprayer broke!! Only pulled sprayer twice. Had to pour into a separate container. Haven’t used long enough to see if the mace works.

It works!!
Can’t believe it works so well I haven’t seen a squirrel since we started spraying!
