A must for frothed coffee
Works very well with my Jura E8. It is hands off easy to make a great froth or hot coffee with heated cream. Well worth the add to your system I highly recommend.

Spare milk Frother for Jura E8 Machine
Spare part (back-up) for Jura E8 coffee maker. When you need your coffee in the morning and the frother stops working and you don't have the time or brain-power without coffee to figure out what's wrong. Just slap in the new part to get going. Has new milk tubing and extra frother valve.

The replacement works well until it stops
After about 5 years of use, the frother piece kept getting clogged so we bought a replacement piece. However, the replacement doesn't seem to last as long. After two years of use and diligent cleaning -- we use water in the milk setting to clean the frothing channel (for the lack of better words), it gave up again. Given the high price of the replacement piece, it is frustrating.

UPDATED: better than the original, but does not last
UPDATE: After two years, the silver end piece became too loose and fell off into the mug. I purchased a new one, which only lasted two weeks before the same thing happened.I purchased this to replace a frother that I purchased in 2010 that would no longer froth. This new version has a screw on plastic tip that avoids the problem the old one had of spraying coffee all over the place for a few seconds until it started drawing milk. Instead, it controls the watery steam so that it stays in the cup. The new one produces better foam than the original. The dial is harder to turn than the old one, but not enough to knock off a star. It comes with extra plastic tips. It also comes with a bottle of cleaner, but I just use soapy water followed by clean water rinse.

Replacement Part
This was a replacement part for a broken one. It works fine. Delivery time was shorter than stated by a few days, the overall delivery time is long because the product ships from overseas!

Doesnt do a good job frothing
Has difficult time sucking up the milk and then froths out more like hot water. I have tried all the different settings, seems all are the same, I would have just bought a different one had I known. I have another Jura that has this function built in and this DOES NOT compare. I do not suggest purchasing.
