This was great for my hair. I used with their bleach as well (L’Oréal). I have been dying my hair black for years and really wanted to try a fun color. Now- I made plenty of mistakes but as far as the product goes this was great. Worked well to lift the color and it didn’t damage my hair. I bleached it twice and it never got bad but then again; I don’t do much to my hair outside of just dying it black so it was pretty thick and healthy to begin with (so take that in consideration). Overall I would recommend if you have super dark hair and want to lighten.First pic is my first time trying and I only did mid section down. Second was when I did it a second time and the whole head (again, not perfect but i was dying it blue anyways lol)

This brand has been around for a long time and works very well.40 Volume is good for using along with bleaching powders, especially when you are trying to lighten darker hair. Being that this brand has been around, I trust it will lift darker hair to the desired shade.(This is in reference to it being 40 Volume that I bought.
