(Obsessive) Love knows no limit of pain...
This is a solid drama from Mexico...with many advertising it as Hitchcockian. The setting is Mexico City and the main characters, the man and woman are Colombian labor immigrants. The movie opens up with the two making love and then rushing to their jobs. The man, Jose Maria (Gustavo Sanchez Parra) is a construction worker and a hot-head and the woman Rosa (Martina Garcia) is a beautiful young housemaid at a big house of a wealthy Mexican family. The house is the third main character in this film...almost the entire movie takes place in the house Rosa works. Both of them also face constant harassment at their jobs and only think of being with each, as new lovers tend to be. To go any further will only spoil the movie-plot...In addition to the house, rats play another significant role in the plot. So make sure you pay attention to rats and the house, and connect the dots. The supporting cast is wonderful, and they all play their parts very convincingly. This film reminded me of another Spanish language film, The Hidden Face (2012). Which also happens to be worthy of recommending thriller-drama. I gave this film solid 4 stars, for one reason only, namely I found the ending to be terrible...the last 8 minutes of the movie felt like typical Latin telenovela my mother likes to watch. So much could have been done with the ending to make it more convincing or mouth-dropping.

Only watch if you are brain dead.
Spoiler Alert: This movie is about about a criminal who secretly lives in his girlfriends house where she works. When she figures it out he dies. Yep, that is it. I felt brain dead when I watched this movie. If my IQ went down. Me blame movie make me dumber. Martina Garcia is hot. Watch her on the hidden face, not this movie.

Rage
Good movie with good actors. If you're tired of watching the same old massed produced, big studio movies, Rage will be a refreshing change of pace. This movie shows you how things can go so wrong, so fast.

Hints at depths unplumbed
An interesting, reasonably credible, well filmed sequence of events in a movie occasionally hinting at greater depths which are, unfortunately, left unplumbed.

CREEPY UNCONVENTIONAL THRILLER
This is not your formulaic suspense film noir. In fact, it's hard to classify it at all - it's a one-off. But it makes your average film noir seem like a Disney movie. It's brutal, uncompromising and compelling. Good job by everyone involved!
