MacFarms Coconut Macaroon Macadamia Nuts 24 oz

Yum! We just got back from Hawaii awhile ago, and I have been craving macadamia nuts ever since! These are so good, I have to ration them out in bags, otherwise......ugh would end up eating several serving! These are awesome if you like coconuts and macadamia nuts! YOU WON'T be disappointed!!!! Would buy again.

Good flavor for sure. If you like coconut and macadamia nuts you’ll like the way they taste. Here’s why I gave them 3 stars... They are really hard! I mean the outer “shell” which is of course the coconut stuff they are mixed with is literally rock hard. You need good teeth to eat these! I bought 2 bags, perhaps the second will be a bit more teeth friendly... maybe this bag was just a bad batch. I don’t know. The nuts inside seem to be fresh... I’m hoping it was just a bad batch because the flavor is good and I’d love to order more. I’d love to know what others think. If the manufacturer wants to send me a fresh bag I’ll try them and update the review.

This product was as I expected from this company. They are very tasty. Maybe too tasty!!

i love these and like that i didnt pay a ridiculous price for the 24 oz bag or I wouldn’t have bought them...some sellers want that much for a 6 oz bag so there are times I have gone without these for quite some time as I would never pay that much.

For a while, Costco sold a version of these by the same manufacturer and with the same name. The packaging was different, but I figured I'd give it a shot. They're not the same. These have a very hard shell of coating--in fact, maybe 5% of the nuts had their shell broken off in transit. They're edible, but very, very crunchy.

I am warning you - you will buy more of these because they are delicious! I only order them when I know I am having guests so I don't eat the whole bag!

MacFarms Coconut Macaroon Macadamia Nuts are delicious !! However, the thick sugar coating is a bit off putting when you bite into them. It's just like biting into a jaw breaker. same sensation. The taste is wonderful. The price is excellent for macadamias. Would have preferred a lighter sugar-coconut coating. Also, not sure how much of the weight of the item is represented by the sugar at the bottom of the bag. There was a lot. I do recommend these. Be aware that the hard outer shell is very hard.
